There is no shortage of stocks I do not like.
Nor is there a shortage of companies I'd tend to believe are fraudulent.
Guess how much time I spend posting on the MBs for said mentioned stocks? Not one single, solitary second because I don't care about those stocks and have no intention of taking a position in any of them. Simply put I have better things to spend time on.
I know many don't put much faith in Sierra World Equity, but it did nail their last two calls on SKTO practically to the fractional penny.
A 10-day target of $0.15 would work just fine. Still more interested in the "5-year target" though, but a 50% rise at this point would work.
Looks like this is the reason for this morning's "pop" in PPS (from MarketWire)...
"The Janes Card™ is a universal loyalty-based card along with a payment solution for members for medical cannabis collectives and dispensaries throughout California. The card will have an upscale look and feel, and will be distributed by the Company directly as well as through collectives/dispensaries and doctors' offices throughout the state. Customers will be able to update their Janes Card™ account online or through a dedicated telephone number, much as they are currently able to do with more traditional credit card and loyalty programs. The Company expects a nationwide rollout sometime in the first half of 2014."
Sounds very interesting, especially the part about a nationwide rollout in the next 6 months or so.
Now, let's see if we can maintain this bump today and not slide back into the red. That would be cool.
"Why is it a Schedule 1 drug still????"
It's called political cowardice, and there is no shortage of it around.
All right; I'm game.
I'm guessing it'll spend some time in the mid-to-upper $.09's some time this week. Then it will break back above $.10 soon afterwards and slowly climb back into the $.12 neighborhood. Next major news story, NOT including Seeking Alpha (ugh!), we'll probably get a clearer idea of direction for the short-term.
Disclaimer - Hey! It's only a guess.
My understanding is that the raids involved only one particular company in Colorado that had several sites. From a comment found on Huff Po relating to the Colorado raids...
"That was not the message at all. 1 business with several locations was raided. The investigation began in FL.
Colorado's Marijuana industry is in the same shape it was 2 days ago, only now there is a little less competition. We have yet to see a single arrest, or even any charges filed."
Tempest in a tea cup.
Nobody here hates you tyler.
Now kurtbyars on the other hand...
Welcome aboard. Let's all make us some scratch, what say you?
The tech analysis site I use has all indicators pegged at Neutral. This includes short, medium and long-term. Candlestick analysis also shows Neutral.
The only indicator showing otherwise is the RSI (Relative Strength Index) which just dipped below 30, indicating a short-term Oversold.
If this is accurate put your jammies on because we are looking at a snoozefest for a while. (IF it is accurate.)
So very many similar stories and situations waiting to discover the benefits to medical MJ.
Thanks for posting.
It's a definite possibility. If it does end up green it would make for quite a statement on MJNA's resiliency.
Well, that was depressing. Not surprising, but depressing all the same.
The Confidence-o-meter is definitely in the red.
Have to admit that last time Sierra put out Buy and Sell ratings on SKTO it was pretty darn near spot on. This latest Sell rating has a target price of $0.055. Heck that's just another 25% loss. SKTO can knock that out by Monday lunch time.
Something else that worries me is with what the overall market cap of SKTO is why doesn't some billionaire just scoop it up with some pocket change and give it as a Xmas present to their grand kid? If it's a great company seems like a no-brainer. *SIGH*
I hear your frustration. Very highly manipulated stock for sure. If anyone wants proof, go to the MB of an S&P 500 / Dow Jones stock and see how often comments are posted there. Come back to this board and you find out there have been 50 posts since the last post in the Intel or CSX Corporation MBs. Hmmmmmmm!
This stock is starting to remind of the little old lady in the Medical Alert commercials...
"Help! I've fallen and I can't get up."
