Why did 202,000 shares of Zolt change hands today???
I smell a rat . Why would Zsolt sell to a company like TORAY after turning down $18 offer from QP ?
Bill ,check out TORAY . It is a pink sheet penny stock. Doesn't have to report or play by SEC rules. Worse than Quinnpario.
Now im sure ZOLT is headed to China.
In the insurance business a significant difference between gross and net is executive pay. The 15-20 % margin is only part of gross receipt. Some of them make more on investing the float money than they do on policies. I don't believe our government has ever audited a major insurance corporation. Years ago when Mass. went to no fault auto insurance they said that it would take 5 years to audit one company.
Big insurance is bigger than big oil.
The key words in these arguments are "could and might " There are no definitive statements.
If their only description of the evil seed is "genetecly modified organisms," They are outlawing all living things.
Rumor from broker that ZOLT will end up in China. No details.
How can limiting insurance corporations to 15 -20 % profit be a bad thing for insurance buyers ?
Insurance for profit is a modern phenomena .All insurance used to be based the on nonprofit Mutual plan.
This is said to be started when ship owners met at Lloyds Tavern in London and signed a contract to "share loses " None of them ever made any money from the venture but all of them saved on losses. They didn't have any shareholders to pay. This worked for 200 years. When companies like Prudential switched to a for profit plan the costs started going up at 10% a year. I used to have a Prudential policy. When they went public ,I got shares of stock.. The rules for non profit corporations say that any assets generated under nonprofit status can never be converted and use for profit. All assets belong to the corporation and not the members. Somehow big corporations have no problem converting funds .Insurance companies , hospitals and public utilities do it all the time.
It's a good start but we will not be in good shape until we get the insurance corporations and their shareholders off of the food chain. Two of my doctors have told me that 1/3 of staff expenses are dealing with insurance companies.
Good news for pineapple growers in other countries around the world.
The passage of the ACA into law is the first time our government has ever challenged the big international insurance corporations and won. It would be interesting to see how much money the industry spent on Republican legislators. Our government is not powerful enough to get "single payer "passed --yet. If the teaparty achieves their goals and splits the party ,it may be possible.
This stock usually does best in the first calendar quarter. It starts picking up when farmers in the northern hemisphere start buying seeds.
"The overwhelming weight of evidence is that any GMO food now being sold is OK."
"" This is utter nonsense.""
15 trillion GMO meals consumed with zero health effects !!!!!
Dave ,have you looked at liquefied natural gas (LNG) check out CQP a limited partnership with tax advantages. It is around $30 now but usually hangs around $25. It pays a $1.70 div in quarterly segments. I buy when it gets down to $20 and hold. I have bought as low as $14. I have been on it for 4 years and paid zero taxes. Probably will if I sell it.
I have made a lot of money on MON over the years, the last 3 years have been very good.

It will be recalled that in "Dr. Strangelove" Gen. Jack D. Ripper ordered his B-52 bomber wing to attack the Soviet Union with nuclear weapons because he thought adding flouride to public drinking water was a Communist plot to pollute his "precious bodily fluids". Gen. Ripper's bedroom performance was slipping a little.
Stanley Kubrick's film was released in 1964. Now, nearly 50 years later, the city of St. Peters MO. finds itself listening to people who share Gen. Ripper's views. "Forced medication is just wrong" nothing said about putting chlorine in there to kill bacteria. Maybe they don't know about that.
Here is something you can worry about cox . A lot of antibiotics and steroids are used in the production of meat ,chicken ,beef ,pork and turkey.
Some of this passes through their system and ends up in manure which is used as fertilizer by organic farmers. This is a low dose in organic plants .You probably know the cosequences of low dose antibiotics. It makes your body immune to antibiotics if you need them for real problems like staph and other infectious diseases.
Only someone who is anti science, would be negative about helping female students get an education in this field.
