I'm assuming that you are on CME Group Uranium page. The Quotes tab is shown by default. Click on the Settlements tab and you see what happened today. By Monday morning the quotes page should reflect this data.
My understanding is the PLS property is currently the 3rd largest deposit of high grade ore in the world, behind Cameco's McArthur River and Cigar Lake mines. 79,610,000 indicated and 25,884,000 inferred pounds of uranium. These numbers are taken from the NI 43-101 report based on drill results as of September 2014.
One big advantage is the deposit is shallow enough that it could use open pit mining. One possible downside is the proximity to a mill. Not sure where the nearest mill is.
I guessing this property is one of the most likely to be acquired by somebody.
At the height of the cold war the US had 32,000 nuclear weapons. USSR has 40,000. During the Megatons to Megawatts program each reduced their arsenals to 5,000 each. Some 62,000 weapons were destroyed and their Uranium was down blended and sold to nuclear reactors.
Everyone is concerned that Iran will get enough enriched Uranium for 1 nuclear warhead. If that amount of Uranium was down blended into nuclear fuel, it couldn't power all the world nuclear reactors for than a few days or weeks. Virtually no effect to the world market.
