one bad egg can bring scrutiny down upon the entire industry, though, if you want to put it into selfish terms.
it would be bad faith, indeed...but i just meant, is there a chance that Geron is cut out of a larger percentage of profits due to not being able to keep up with development costs. are development costs same as opt-in? for myelosuppressive disorders cost sharing is 50/50 with Geron getting teens to low 20s net sales...as you said, its redacted for anything outside those initial indications...what i was wondering was if pursuing other indications -- IDP programs -- required the same financing (50/50) and with potentially so many different indications and combo therapies, is there a possibility Geron couldn't keep up with all the development costs and lose out on a higher percentage of returns as a consequence.
But you're saying the structure is different for IDP, right? That instead of development costs ( trials and manufacture and marketing, etc.,) Geron pays after the fact instead if approved? Thus keeping up shouldnt be an issue.
Interesting stuff. I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts...took time to read through the 10K, think through the ramifications, and write it all out. Very kind of you, thanks.
Could JnJ pursue so many indications that Geron couldn't keep up with opt-in payments, thus decreasing their share of revenues?
Are the revenues higher for indications other than IMbark and IMerge? ie, combination therapies?
that sounds nuts to me.
another poster on the SA board said he is going to sell 5% every 25 dollars the price goes up. that's a bit more hopeful in outlook as to share price.
guess its hard to know when to sell...so some kind of frame work is necessary. i know how much i would like before i'd sell, and it's a lot, but perhaps im just thinking wishfully. not going to sell 1/2 my lot, though, until im at least 2/2 there...but might trim some off the sides on the way up.
cashing out after merely a few nickels gain? when you stand to make 100s times that in the next couple of years? that's nuts.
gotta just block him. he's insufferable. I block all the bashers and then also jkokoa...not because i disagree with him but because he litters the board with too much noise.
could you be more blatant? ...must be starting to worry about having to pay back all those shares. try to dust up a little hysteria about Geron's LONG term plans (hint: invest in future to become a bigger company...wow, real problem there). while this stock's price is artificially deflated, you should cash out ... move on to a new victim. i know, it will takes effort...but you really should thinking about staunching your losses.
Don't want to appear too daft here, but how is this good for Geron? Seems good for Kristina and JnJ but now Geron is without one of their lead scientists, who developed their only drug, and one could ask, why JnJ would ever need GERN? Got their drug, got their scientist (s)... no need to acquire them and only need to license Imetelstat until they develop their own alternative. ...not trying to be a sourpuss, just trying to understand . Thanks for the find and explanation as always.
