MORE THAN 1100 STORE B.K SOON

The liquidators will make sure that no one saves on any 'deals'.
    **************************
He just needs to check every nook and cranny for hidden merchandise. I have seen many associates and management hide merchandise until it gets marked down very cheap. You would be amazed all the places that I have seen people hide things.

The most clever was done by a manager. Inside the quad, under every register is a black tub used for trash or hangers. Under that tub, there is a hole cut out of the cabinet to allow electrical cords for the registers. We used to have a merchandise manager that would roll up clothes and push them inside that hole and push it to the side so it wasn't visible. Then when it was clearance or on a good sale, she would pull it out and buy it. That was before there was a big sale and coupon everyday. BTW: she still works for the company and actually been promoted.

He will be back soon. He can't stand it when we talk about it. But, isn't it fun....

Retay can get him to come out. After all, '85 is his own personal "chew toy".

Retay will share his chew toy with you if you ask nicely, hehe.

I just sent an email to you at your ID + yahoo with my "credentials"-
    ********************
Check you email, I just sent you a reply. I will read it to Goldenboy next time I talk to him. I have not emailed him and don't want to forward your email because during discovery stage of a lawsuit, he will be required to turn over all emails regarding anything or anyone involving JCP. But I will call him later and give him the info. (Golden: I will call you over the weekend).

  • screwedbyjcp screwedbyjcp Jul 17, 2014 3:02 PM Flag

Retay, It appears that Golden has answered your question. The sales tax fraud is what I was referring to. He is absolutely correct in what he is saying but unfortunately, that is all that I can say.

Just look back at his posts as to the department he worked in and what may or may not be taxable. (Please do NOT post the answers to that question).

  • screwedbyjcp screwedbyjcp Jul 17, 2014 2:54 PM Flag

Retay, I'm sorry must I promised Bob that I wouldn't say anything. He has hinted in some of his posts and to where the scamming has taken place but your reply did not cover the dishonest practice that Bob has knowledge of.

I have been posting back and forth with you long enough now that I do believe that you were in retail and that you have NO direct contact with JCP.

I am going to be in the Gem City in the next week or so. If Bob would allow me to briefly get your opinion, I would be happy to meet with you. You can ask your wife if she wants to go for a nice drive. However, If Bob says no, then I have to respect his decision. I think you may be able to add some good info but it's not my decision.

Golden, you can call or text me on this matter if you would like. Retay is in a state that has similar law as Florida. He may be able to offer some good advice.

  • screwedbyjcp screwedbyjcp Jul 17, 2014 1:37 PM Flag

does anything different then you don't know a thing about retail business.
    ********************************
Once again, MY comments are not referring to the up & down sale pricing. I am referring to state laws and possibly federal laws being broken. I'm sorry but I told Bob that I would not release the information that he told me. I am merely replying to Bob's post in support of his quest to justice.

  • screwedbyjcp screwedbyjcp Jul 17, 2014 1:15 PM Flag

I think that's a matter for individuals to decide, and don't require your input to do so.
    ************************
Agreed, the sales prices as well #$%$ quality of merchandise is completely up to the customer to decide.

However, Bob has specific cases where the customers has been robbed of hundreds of dollars in practices that are illegal. He could have just let it go and kept his mouth shut, but he decided to stick up for the customer. I don't know, but if I was in the same situation, I would have had a difficult time over charging the customer. What I am referring to has nothing to do with the everyday price vs sale prices going up and down.

I know that is part of Bob's case and I have different feeling about that part, but the other things that I do know is that Bob was well within his right to speak up and try to stop the company for the illegal actions that they were doing.

I hope that eventually he will sue JCP for wrongful termination, but I think he is doing the right thing by taking it one step at a time. I had my doubts, but not after I talked to him.

But as you said, it is completely up to everyone to make up their own mind. But I don't see anything wrong with getting all of the information out there so that customers and investors have all the info before making their decisions.

    Hey Goldenboy,

Just wanted to let you know that I am still supportive of what you are doing. Going to make this short, not feeling the greatest. I may not agree with every point, but I definitely support you and what you are doing. I realize why you cannot tell the whole story on this board, but I am happy that you trusted me to tell me what all is going on that you haven't been able to release.

Everyone: I can vouch for Bob that there is more than what he has released and he has very valid points. In time, you will all find out. I have no proof of what he has told me to be true, but I do know the company inside and out. I wish people on here would believe me, JCP is not a fair and wonderful company as they are trying so hard to appear. They used to be, many years ago, but now that has all changed when Ullman first joined the company.

Happy 1st Anniversary of being free from JCP. Don't know about you, but I am happy to be out of there. I have friends that are still working and they tell me that things are getting worse. Not nearly as many people working so they have more responsibilities. Fitting rooms alone are a headache to keep clean.

    Keep up the good work.

    Side note: I noticed that Market and Tnge are the only two(?) posters that use "Retoy" when referring to me - - - - - - - you don't think? ? ? - - - - - - - Nah - - - - probably not
    ***************************
Aren't they on opposite sides of the fence?

I look for a shake up. It about time for Ullman to make some changes. Libo mentioned it's just basic movement (not sure how he phrased it), but I think it is much more than that. Remember...."management" consists of more than just the store manager. It includes the supervisors, many of which have a lot of years in. Ullman cut hours and supervisors long before RJ took over.

I look for Ullman to cut supervisors and replace with part time and no benefits. He started that process before he left and I would bet that he is at it again. I know a lot of supervisors that have 5 weeks of vacation plus personal time. Most of them have a difficult time using up their time and end up rolling over a week. Usually it all equals out to 7 weeks PTO. Ullman doesn't like that and it costs the company too much money.

if that's true then Sephora has a lock on 1800 dollars of makeup - - - - LOL
    *************************
LMAO, Too funny. I may shop at Sephora because I get my 25% discount but nowhere close to the $900 that she spent. I had forgot about that.

BTW: Are you keeping an eye on the weather? Sky is getting fairly dark here and should be headed your way fairly soon. At least the Mississippi flooding is receding before we get pounded again. Be thankful that you are not along the river.

Gee, thanks for the compliment, after reading your comments, I think you would be a natural for
    Bed Bath and Beyond! LOL
    ********************************
I don't follow BB&B, so not sure what you are talking about.

I wasn't complimenting or attacking you. I was simply stating that your reply to danzy was intriguing and that I felt like I needed to take danzy off ignore to see what you were referring to.

Sorry if you felt that I was being disrespectful towards you. That was not my intent.

I do not have you on ignore, just danzy.

Hey, what about me? I was the one that brought it to attention.

Ummmm, you might want to rethink your opening remark

I have Danzy on ignore but with your comment, I had to check this out.

Markit is correct, you need to go back and read you statement. Ha, too funny!

Besides, I'm a girl, just like you MzKelli. Doubt I would be going into a brothel.

If I want to get screwed, I will go to JCPenney. It's a guarantee....

August? ----------anything the market would see as a negative would offset any positive SSS , etc------???
    *********************
I really don't have a clue what it is all about. There was a post on Topix from someone asking if anyone else has heard about it. That board appears to be associates. In the past, things that have been posted on there have usually been true.

A big shake up would not surprise me.

Maybe Market can tell us a little about the shake up that is going to be happening in August with JCP management. I just read on another message board of someone asking if they know what is going on.

I've always said that Ullman fires a lot of people and from the top, but he does it on a lower scale so that it is not as "media friendly" as RJ. I have seen a lot of supervisors lose their job when Ullman was the CEO prior to RJ.

He also did not offer a fair severance package. I will give RJ credit, he did offer a decent severance. I'm sure that was so that a majority of us would accept the severance and get out of there and he could bring in the young kids at minimum wage.

The only reply has been from Retay. I'm asking about the 11K not the Form 4.

And thanks Retay fro the reply.

The alert is an 11K but the above statement is the only think that I am able to view. Does anyone know how to go about getting access to the document?

The SEC Alert was sent out today but dated 6/30.

    Thanks

Hey JCPGoldenBoy ... A serious Question

Hey Retay, look what else the cat drug in. MzKellyFitzgerald is back and using her name again. For anyone new to the board, she is a substitute chew toy when JCP85 is out.

I don't think she ever left, I still think she is the one with the multiple ID"s. We can all expect very old articles to be posted over and over now that she is back.
