    Stabilized?

The institutional ownership is just too minuscule for this stock to move much without some sort of news....I doubt if we see much other than the price drifting until the next earnings or other news. In August, the subsequent moves after earning appear to be due to their news articles on Shanty construction, but you can't count on news like that coming out.

  • FYI, the next earnings are only 2 months away in February:

From the FAQ section of Investor Relations on their web site:

    8. When is the next earnings release?
China HGS's quarterly earnings reports follow SEC regulations on timing and are tentatively scheduled to be released in 40 days following a fiscal quarter‘s end and in 75 days following the fiscal year‘s end. All earnings releases will be posted on our website and sent through normal media outlets.

    9. What is China HGS Real Estate Inc.'s fiscal year and corresponding quarter-end dates?
China HGS operates on a fiscal year that runs from October 1 to September 30. Quarter-ends are: December 31 (Q1), March 31 (Q2), June 30 (Q3) and September 30 (Q4).

I suspect we'll see earnings on either 12/12 or 12/15....from the FAQ section of Investor Relations on their web site:

    So....any day now.

From the FAQ section of Investor Relations on their web site. This means earning will probably be announced on either 12/12 or 12/14:

Yeah, but technically looks like its just coming off the bottom of the 1-year chart. A poor day-trade today, yes, but might make a nice swing trade if you can hold for about a week, more or less.

For whatever reason they shift the 4th quarter and full year earnings reporting by a month....last year they reported on the 13th of December, so it will probably be any day now.

Yeah, more likely somewhere between 1:3 to 1:5 shares.

You're correct that it is moving based on hype, just as the mid-August into September move was also based on hype. This is the Stock Market which does not ONLY move based on fundamentals, but rather the emotions of the collective market participants. Just remember.....its not wise to spit against the wind.

  • screwhp screwhp Nov 18, 2014 12:41 PM Flag

Yeah, I think that move to near 5 last week was in anticipation of earnings.....it had been 3 months since the previous quarter earnings, so I think folks expected it around then. For whatever reason they shift the 4th quarter and full year earnings reporting by a month....last year they reported on the 13th of December, so there is probably a few weeks left yet for their earnings report.....most likely a strong earnings report with a strong outlook.

  • This may get a double burst tomorrow. First, earnings before the open. Second, conference call begins at 11:00 AM ET. Did people just forget about the news the company put out on 10/6 ???

  • PORTLAND, OR -
A Portland woman who recently visited Africa and was being monitored for Ebola developed a sustained fever Friday, leading paramedics to take her to Providence Milwaukie Hospital to be put in isolation at about 1 p.m.

There is no risk to the public, according to health officials, who did not release specifics regarding her identity or the timeline of her return to Portland from Africa. They said she visited one of the the three Ebola-stricken countries (Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia), but did not specify which one.

Health officials said the patient was brought to Providence Milwaukie because it was available and prepared. They said the staff and teams have undergone extensive training and officials are working to fulfill their three aims: “Safe care for patient, safety for health care workers, and safety for the general public,” said Dr. Paul Lewis.

The people who live with the patient are now under a voluntary home quarantine.

Health officials said testing is being obtained by a laboratory and will be sent to the CDC who will have to confirm the results. The timeline for the results is unknown and officials said, “It will take time for them to run and confirm the tests.”

I'd have to say it will come down to cost. The automotive manufactures are ALWAYS looking for ways to reduce vehicle cost. If they can reduce cost (OR profit more from a cheaper part), they'll do it.

I don't see these two patents making the company a patent troll like VRNG. They are not buying patents and then suing other companies who already use the process. These are brand new processes that no one uses. Granted, there is a long road ahead of them and the stock activity will wane either tomorrow or early next week, but these patents have the potential to generate tremendous value for the long term.

Exactly. He'll have a summary at the top of the article stating why he "thinks" the stock is moving for the current day, and then lists a summary of their "current" ratings they ALREADY had in place, not including the current news.

Like many of the other "Ebola" stocks, this one will depend on ongoing Ebola news....kinda slow today, especially since the 5-year old boy tested negative.
