I was there---down on the river, cans of spam and bottles of thunderbird chilled but you were a no show.
I was so disappointed. Oh well, there is always next year.
She is no seetheshort that's for sure so that rumor can be put to rest..
So sad to see that a mentally ill Belgian troll has come to dominate this board with his insanity.
I remember when the troll was so proud of his new handle "solarrdactylus" and when he admitted he was so drunk as to be barely able to type and thus the spelling. On the QTMM jhub board he is FREEGRASS---because he is a stoner.
sidney dude, mabel honey, quit responding to the idiot's posts. The sad little TROLL goes off his Meds and seeks attention here, attention his mommy won't give him.
QDOTS do not threaten UDC. Maybe ten years from now but that is a big maybe.
PUT THE BELGIAN TROLL SOLARRDACTYLUS ON IGNORE
Since I was not allowed to ask Sid a question during the conference call I'll just throw it out there for you:
What's happening in the 3rd Q?
PPG will open the second OLED chem facility. It will be in Ohio, currently 1st line in Monroeville Pa.
Production increase being discussed but no time frame given.
From Grams to Kilo Grams.
1000 grams is a Kilo.
Curren oled production met with grams.
Buy and Hold until 2017-2018
Hell no. We will still enjoy a good bottle(s) of wine under the bridge along with the gourmet meal planned.
I'm just leaving the board to the morons like robweis and the banter of other yahoo novices.
Totally my error. Should have been alluded to.
Leave it to the the simple minded to attack the wording error rather than searching out the information.
Typical LAZY ignorant yahoo board trolls.
I'll leave the board now to the incompetent bozos that have come to occupy it. This board WAS one of the best on Yahoo but now a bunch of dipsheetz newbies like surreal killer, sidneyleejohnson,dca1125,mabel,the belgian troll and his numerous ID's and a few others dominate the board with personal uninformed opinions.
You guys own it now. Argue about shorting, daily share price, projections, bashing and any other stupid topics that you want to, just like any other yahoo message board.
solardactylus danny dude,
You used to post on this board as "freegrass", still using that ID on you QTMM IHUB board I see.
At least on that board you admit to loosing your few dollars betting on that penny stock thus your "misery" drives you bash PANL:

Wish I had the money to attend.
Come on QMC, get me out of this misery!
danny solardactylus dumb dude,
Actually My little pet belgian troll dude The Basic patent for quantum dot tech in displays is assigned to Universal display.
Also, quantum dots may be used as a dopant to OLED in the future but Samsung has abandoned Quantum Dots for now in favor of OLED.
Inventors: Bulovi ; Vladimir (Lexington, MA), Coe; Seth A. (Watertown, MA), Woo; Wing-Keung (Cambridge, MA), Bawendi; Moungi G. (Boston, MA)
Assignee: Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, MA)
Universal Display Corporation (Ewing, NJ)
Family ID: 28675447
Appl. No.: 10/400,908
Filed: March 28, 2003
Also known by ti2155, seethelong, belgium troll, quantum dotty, scudjembe, ect ect ect
Won't help your 7 cent quantum dot stock--it s still a huge looser for you dude.
Sony has lost money each and every year for the last ten years on TV's. That is why they are trying to produce OLED TV's ya dummy.
LCD is dying on the vine--quantum dots isn't going to stop that ya putz..
We can hope the delay is caused by switching from the Vitex system to a more elegant sealing solution.
Single-layer encapsulation for OLEDs unveiled at SVC TechCon
April 19, 2011
Ewing, NJ-based Universal Display Corp. has unveiled a novel, single-layer encapsulation technology for plastic-substrate systems and thin-film devices, including rigid and flexible OLED displays and lighting panels. The company announced the advances at the SVC TechCon in Chicago.
Details of the new thin-film encapsulation technology were delivered by Dr. Ruiqing Ma, Department Manager, Flexible OLED Displays, at Universal Display, in a paper titled, “Technical Gap Analysis of Vacuum Coated Materials for Flexible OLED Display and Lighting Applications.” Developed in collaboration with research partner Princeton University, Universal Display’s single, hybrid organic-inorganic layer approach has been demonstrated successfully as an encapsulant for flexible and rigid OLED devices.
The encapsulation layer provides an effective permeation barrier to protect thin-film devices from environmental conditions, such as moisture and oxygen, which is critical for the long-term performance of OLED display and lighting products. Using environmentally-benign and non-toxic materials in a potentially low-cost process, the barrier film technology may also be well suited for high-performance plastic substrate systems and other thin-film devices, such as photovoltaics and batteries.
“Our novel single-layer encapsulation technology is an elegant solution to improve the manufacture and performance of OLEDs and a range of other thin-film devices,” says Steven V. Abramson, president/CEO of Universal Display. “Our approach relies on a single, hybrid organic-inorganic layer that is applied using a cost-effective process. This film creates a very strong permeation barrier to address the strict packaging requirements of these devices.
We know Cramer has never been a fan of UDC--seems to know nothing about them yet another negative slanted article from them. Up side is at least now rated a "hold"
TheStreet Ratings rates Universal Display Corporation as a hold. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its robust revenue growth, largely solid financial position with reasonable debt levels by most measures and expanding profit margins
Reasonable debt levels?
Hey Morons at the street---how about NO debt and sitting on a bunch of cash with more rolling in every two quarters for now(samsung)
Sure your long and have a long history of bashing t2156 and scud the troll but other than that you have contributed nothing of interest or value to the board.
You could try contributing some research or information of value.
If not, get over it because you are the 99% crowd below dude.
I'll leave it up to you to figure out what the 99% is.
The writer simply said that the oled screens made the profit for samsung last quarter. What's to argue?
Your saying flexible screens are potential revolutionary is akin to saying in the day that the combustion engine is potentially revolutionary. The simply FACT is that flexible screens WILL BE revolutionary, not potentially DUDE.
Do some good on this board and bring some real research and insight instead of parroting what every writer has all ready stated.
You are aware that PANL does not comment on what any customer is ordering and exactly when they will place the order ?
PANL can make educated guess's/projections but ultimately they don't know if a client will delay orders or not.
PANL cannot step on samsung's toes by stating they are or not using green for instance.
"The form factors enabled by flexible are potentially revolutionary."
Potentially? Ya gotta be kidding. You sound like rookie journalist rewriting and repeating what he has read elsewhere.
Now Mabel honey,
How many times have I called Jimmy nothing more than a midway carnival barker for your trailer park crowd?
Are you drunk again already this morning?
