Gotta put in my 2 cents. As a vet, remember Monday is NOT Nat'l BBQ Day...fine to do that of course, but do take a minute to reflect on those who served and gave their lives for this country so YOU are free to do what you want...thanks much....
Unfortunately, 2 guys getting fired is miniscule compared to the good approving can do. I cannot think of a worse scenario than, "we rejected it but that's ok, we fired a couple guys because of their tactics on this one.
Imagine about 8pm tonight you find out AA has been granted and you're REALLY short the stock. I would imagine that would be one dreadful, LONG weekend.
I mean, a long weekend is great...but not when you're going to get clobbered by an oncoming train Monday morning!
I'm thinking I've never seen a Janet Woodcock show up at an adcom and make an argument.
I'm thinking I've never seen Congressmen stand on the floor and make a case for approval.
I am thinking I've never seen such a kangaroo court of an adcom and the outcry afterward by those in power.
I'm thinking the need what SRPT offers will win the day.
What am I thinking? THAT is what I am thinking.
Do yourself a favor and don't regard SA as "news" SA is just a blog that knows somebody, nothing more.
You wanna write for SA? Help yourself. You can. Doesn't make it NEWS.
LOL... the BB are the NE Patriots of bio investing...and they're the big gorilla more often right than wrong. (I say this and don't even really like the Patriots, but you get the pt)
The FDA, in a move designed to generate good will...is currently informing SRPT execs of approval RIGHT NOW, so a pre market announcement can be made within the next 12 hours.
Normally I have no issue with shorting...it's part of the market as we know it.
But to short SRPT and publicly root for failure is unfathomable to me... I'm a good capitalist, trust me...but no way could I short SRPT and hope I make a few bucks. I have to face the man in the mirror for the rest of my days...
I wonder about people who would like to see SRPT fail (this goes out to you FDA types too, who did so much to torpedo the Adcom, I wonder how you sleep at night or live with yourself.)
I think karma is a very real force in life...and it won't be fun for some.
Absolutely the Rosies deserve mention. The gals back home during WW2 were pressed into service in many capacities and contributed mightily.
Why would there be ANY BB label? What would be the concern? Last I heard, there were no adverse effects.
