Looks like an article out by Barrons just now on PacBio.. Sounds like it's about the payment. Gotta pay to read it though.
Check the volume during past couple selling days- Dwindling. This isn't a high volume sell off. My guess is 4.75 area will act as support, IF it even gets there. 4.50 has very strong support.
I'm so in. What's your target? First technical resistance is at $8. $12 will bring it to about a billion or so dollar market cap. Wondering what a reasonable price might be on a buyout, 1.5 billion? that would bring it to about the IPO price of $16-18 which is where I think it's going. Any thoughts?
I would agree, especially those that are undervalued like PACB. I think it's in a good spot to add and may do so this week.
Here they come with the upgrades. ; )

topping for today, sure maybe. go ahead and short it for a few pennies here and there but this isn't the kind of stock you want to remain short. unless you are day trading. stock is going to $8+, maybe even IPO price.
I did not catch that. Well they couldn't buy ILMN or LIFE so my guess is that PacBio was their next best bet, plus the fact that PacBio seems to have made a large turnaround in their technology and perception. Seems to me Roche can get their foot in the door on sequencing with a small cap that has solid technology and help one another grow faster in the space. I do not know the details though to which he is referring to exactly in any commentary Roche has released. Maybe referring to the PR that was announced when Roche did the deal with them.
I did hear the part where they were mum about the goings on with Roche.
I think that relationship develops in a big way over time.
I think it is a steal too. What's your time frame for getting back to IPO levels though? I'm thinking 2017 which means there's still time to buy. Not sure how far up it's going this year. Any ideas for year-end price target?

$6 is a big number from where we stand now. but, I'll take it! this thing got way oversold to begin with. I'll take 5.51 then 5.86 as places to consider for tomorrow, or end of the week.
Zoocrew, did you watch the youtube video of the CEO in 2013. if not, it's a pretty good one. he seems like a straight shooter all right. $1 salary and buys his own company stock, putting large money where his mouth is, although he is quite the reserved CEO and not a bragging twerp like many. I'm glad that I added again recently and can sit and watch this company grow. Im torn between it going higher now or a bit lower so I can add again. back to IPO prices on this one is not out of the question.
Sounds good. So this latest purchase in California was done with stock, is that correct? if so, RAM must think the prospects are good with HTM and hope to get higher prices on the HTM stock to make some of their original investment $ back.I think I read somewhere that RAM put in 30 million into the plant already and received 6.9 million in HTM stock?
This can only be good for renewable energy companies like HTM-
World must end 'dirty' fuel use - UN
A long-awaited UN report on how to curb climate change says the world must rapidly move away from carbon-intensive fuels.
There must be a "massive shift" to renewable energy, says the 33-page study released in Berlin.
It has been finalised after a week of negotiations between scientists and government officials.
Natural gas is seen as a key bridge to move energy production away from oil and coal.
But there have been battles between participants over who will pay for this energy transition.

Climate policy is not a free lunch”
Prof Ottmar Edenhofer
Co-chair IPCC working group 3
The report is the work of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which was set up to provide a clear scientific view on climate change and its impacts.
The Summary for Policymakers on mitigation paints a picture of a world with carbon emissions rising rapidly.
"The high speed mitigation train needs to leave the station very soon, and all of global society will have to get on board," the IPCC's chair Rajendra Pachauri told journalists in Berlin at the launch of the report.

yeah, I'm thinking it could go back to about $3.50 level right where it took off. I was kinda hoping it would hold here around the 200 MA but chart looks kinda weak now. perhaps more selling ahead. ; (
Hey All, I am long this stock as of about a month ago and recently added a bit. I'm wondering though why I'm not seeing any insider buys. I'm relatively new to the stock but have just started following the geothermal story and like what I'm seeing. Why aren't insiders loading up on this, or where are their buys??
