I'd like to see some investors jumping on this sector. KBH just had a 7 cent earnings surprise today. They are up about 2%, but other than HOV, the rest of the home builders are down, or maybe only up a little. What is with this sector? We should all be up when good earnings come in. It means other companies in the sector expect to do well too.
I'm leery. We did not have a committment to ground troops in the current Iraq problem when Citi began coverage on KB. I look for a downgrade, and soon. If I was in at $15.80 or under, I'd consider holding.
It would be a handy work-around, I think, if there was a U. S. mutual fund that consisted of a bank vault full of physical precious metals. I'm not taking about GLD, which tries to act like gold, either. It would take the F out of PFIC and eliminate the need to file form 8621, which, if you've ever been to the IRS web site, isn't an especially easy form to file.
Yes, aborted fetuses. That is the technology SNMX uses. Ground up dead human babies. They use the cells from these murdered babies to build a proprietary receptor that screens chemicals for use as flavoring ingredients. Grow up? It's time a grownup spoke up about this company. They have innocent blood on their hands. There are very few companies I wouldn't buy for moral reasons. You could argue the babies are already dead. The Nazis probably argued that way when they made soap and lampshades out of people that were already dead, too.
Check the Senomyx wikipedia article. Senomyx uses tissue from healthy, electively aborted human fetuses to develop flavoring ingredients for food companies. Pepsi, Kraft, and Cadbury are partnered with this horrible company. Campbell Soups has reportedly severed its relationship with Senomyx.
Killing babies to develop artificial flavors. How does that sit with you? It reminds me of stories I used to hear about making soap and lampshades out of people. What has our country come to?
John, the Snopes article is in response to a partially untrue email that is circulating. Read the wikipedia article on Synomyx. They are using cells from electively aborted healthy fetuses to make taste receptors for the development of artificial flavors. They are partnered with Pepsi (shame on Pepsi!), Kraft Foods (shame on Kraft!), and Cadbury (shame on Cadbury!). Campbell Soups has reportedly pulled out of their relationship with Synomyx. Good for Campbells.
How can a company like this exist. Monsters! Ghouls! Shame! You have innocent blood on your hands, and I don't want it anywhere near my food.
Look it up, "Luke." Read the Wikipedia article on Semonyx. Type Pepsi Semonyx in a yahoo! search. Dead babies. This is so much worse than animal testing, and it's in the food you eat.
Kraft foods collaborates with Semonyx to develop new flavors. Check the Semonyx wikipedia article. Semonyx develops new flavoring ingredients using aborted human fetuses. What is this world coming to? Monsters! Ghouls! Shame!
Research Pepsi's relationship with Semonyx. Semonyx develops flavors for Pepsi using tissues from aborted human fetuses. Check the Semonyx wikipedia article. Just search "Pepsi Semonyx." This is hideous. What has our world come to?
These idiots generally post weird stuff on Facebook and Twitter and MySpace before they go on rampages. Facebook, heck it wouldn't even have to be Facebook. The government could monitor everyone's Facebook page, and they could focus enforcement on people who fit a dangerous person profile.
Technical schmetical. Facebook is a flawed stock. Nobody will take it seriously. Pension funds have better prospects. This stock is going nowhere, forever. Cut your losses and enjoy your education. You may even get a percentage back in a class action suit.
At least around here, property taxes are collected the county government, and not the federal government. I'm not saying a whole lot of sheriffs and county commissioners and selectmen couldn't write Ben Bernanke a compelling letter. I just don't figure he'd do much about it.
