Enough exposure already...unfortunately at a higher level.
No worries...not much of a trading year anyway, as I have shifted priorities again, and am committed to personal stuff...and having fun 😎
Amen to all that!
Rock sure has seen some changes...but I feel it will be around for awhile yet ;)
When I listen, I definately prefer the pre 80s days ( the older, the better ), but have learned to accept and enjoy the rest...in varying degrees.
Healy, Fairlady, Triumph...knew someone with them all, and so many more.
Again...DEFINTELY prefer pre 80s vehicles, especially the styling, and overall feel of the driving experience. All of my forever toys are from back then, save my daily driver.
We be seen some pretty crazy world events in all this time...many kids pick the 50s-70s as a time they wish they could visit first hand...scary...but genuine.
But no way I would trade those experiences...not for anything.
JMHOGO! ( Just My Honest Old Geezer Opinion )
Correct! Just like Apple with SIRI...but probably where SIRI wishes to be.
Both companies ( and others ) see the value of AI, AR, VR...the near future will be very interesting :)
If you post 100 messages a day with one ID...you are perceived as a crazy. If you post 100 messages divided amongst several IDs, you are creating an air of board consensus...at least as perceived by those newbies that are not aware of " who is whos ".
This is not the endeavor of an honorable person...this is done to deceive. Pumper or Basher...makes no difference...and yes White, I agree that many multiple posters wear both hats as agendas change.
My first change to Yahoo! would be full disclosure of ID affiliations.
It would make for a better site...better yet, 1 ID per account and one account per person linked to your SSN...no cheating allowed. This would obliterate their click count, and cost revenue...board flow would cease to a mere trickle...so you'll not likely see it happen. Money wins again over quality of service, of content, and any integrity showing up here should not expect to be appreciated.
Too bad. You need but one ID to tell your truth.
As long as we're dreaming...Tuesday Afternoon would be great!
Love those concept albums...but I'm just another Desperado ;)
The patent sale that was was going to happen before the ASM...THAT patent sale? MVIS has been in danger of imminent collapse for a decade according to your assorted IDs...it will probably be collapsing same time next year too...see ya'll then ;)
Yup...they put 304s in some, 401s in some others. Drove a 304 ci version. Weight distrubution was so biased it was dangerous.
Same with the TR8, but not as bad. Couldn't give me either...I value my life ;)
Now the right $ could go a long way toward sorting either out, but I'd rather put it toward something that's already leaning in the right direction, if ya get my drift!
Saw Elvis on ED too...freaked my parents out.
Duh, I finally got it!
They've been around a long time, if it's the ones I remember seeing video of.
They're pretty close to the real thing.
I thought the link might be something to do with the performance you saw...YouTube and all :)
Sorry if I see this differently, but it does appear as tho when corrected on obvious errors he chose to cover his tracks by deleting.
For example " Christians never ever forced people to become Christians." taken as presented, is an undeniably false statement...too much historical documentation supports forced conversions by virtually every major faith at one time or another, including Christian, most notably the Catholic Church.
Now he could have effectively argued that no true Christian would even contemplate such an act, which I would heartily agree with.
But his statement as given, opened up a can of worms which has to include the politics and history of religion as viewed by the world...not what you & I might agree on is the definition of a true Christian.
It's better for people to discuss this calmly, as, for example, Barnspotter ( savelad ) did the other day.
If someone disagrees, or presents proofs that make one uncomfortable, it does not help matters to delete the topic, as the truth will not go away. If that evidence is false in your eyes, you can pursue the matter further until the truth presents itself. You've probably heard the Country lyrics " You've got to stand for something, or you'll fall for anything "?
I can't seem to make any link work off this site any more...oh well!
Miss those days...tough times, but good times.
Yes...there are plenty of posts missing.
At least partly due to a topic " OP -Islam is a religion of peace ", authored by Vantviva, that was recently deleted...there may have been others deleted as well?
As he failed to acknowledge his mistakes when corrected, I can only assume that he was displeased with the outcome of the thread in mention, and chose to deleted it in its entirety, instead of deleting only his posts.
Draw your own conclusions on the merit and significance of those actions...I certainly have ;)
I stand by my post. There are no good choices in this election.
Ethics are missing In politics today, and these are two fine examples of that sad fact. It has nothing to do with party lines...I'm Independent and have never bought into the club mentality of politics.
I want a President who cares about Country before self...it's obviously too much to ask.
Anyone who's smart enough to see thru Hillary, should be able to see thru " The Donald " as well.
There are no good choices...we deserve to be the political laughing stock of the planet with candidates like these...seriously!
Topo Gigio, anyone?
Saw the Beatles, Stones, Dave Clark Five, and so many more, live on Ed.
Speaking of...took a test drive once in a V8 Gremlin, and a Triumph TR8...both squirrelly death traps, as well as way slower than my ride.
Good times :)
Thanks for the response, White!
Some would argue that ANY order is a " material event "...hence my wording to narrow it down to events that truly matter ;)
" No announcements equals no orders of material significance. "
Try this instead.
No announcements means no orders of significant consequence.
Isn't that more accurate?
