Well, who left. Brazil, Russia and Persian gulf countries (the oil producers) with money are also crashing.
US Financials are in trouble. There is no way but another great recession.

I say sell early and before the market gets out of hand. The exit door may not handle all investors at the same time and some investors will be crashed with the market.

Anytime you cut your losses, you are profiting.
On December 30 of last year, I bought some shares. It was around $22 and look at it now. I sold when it crossed $20 and traded in and out to get my losses back from this dog. You may say that the market was bad and all stocks went down. To some degree is correct but HZNP is the dog of this market. Even DEPO has performed better than HZNP this year. At the beginning of the year, HZNP was ahead of DEPO by 3 points and now they are close to each other. I am afraid that DEPO will go above HZNP.
I am trading it and I have negative view on the stock unless it hits $14.

  • Financials are the gage for the market and when they go down, the whole market goes down.
    Better to risk off.

This a hit and run market.
HZNP, well, $14 is in view.

OT: NRF lost over 75% in 6 month

NRF PE is 2.9 and at current price, it is paying 35% dividend.
This is just one example for some people here who talk about HZNP low PE.

  • short_is_good_baboly by short_is_good_baboly Feb 9, 2016 5:52 PM Flag

NRF supposed to provide stable dividend to its shareholders but it lost over 75% of its value in 6 months.
So, it is not only oil companies that are pressuring the market but real-state, financials and techs have started to show extreme weakness. Saving capital is the most important thing that a retail investor can do.

How much clearer can they make it

In Q4, ES kicked out two of HZNP drugs and HZNP probably was paying 100% of costs for a while. TRX may show good numbers but HZNP didn't get all the revenue.
Q4 revenue may be a miss. Yesterday CC avoid Q&A and the current price activity is speaking load and clear.
Q3 should be an experience for retail investors. Just 3 days after Q3 report, while investors were hoping for prices in high $20s, ES action sent the stock to its lows again.

People have started to see the big picture. When other good stocks are trading at deep discount then risky stocks like HZNP should not be on your radar at this time but until it drop much more to be interesting.

Savient was not saved by Krystexxa and it is HZNP turn to wake up and smell the bad news.
Throwing good money after a bad drug. Once a loser drug always a loser drug.

  • short_is_good_baboly by short_is_good_baboly Feb 8, 2016 8:52 PM Flag

HZNP paid an inflated price for its orphan drug Krytexxa and it trying to triple its sales force to sell the drug, something that DEPO did for Nucynta. However, orphan drug has a limited known patients and number of salesmen does not increase the sale. Krystexxa bankrupted its developer and HZNP will be the second victim.

  • short_is_good_baboly by short_is_good_baboly Feb 8, 2016 8:24 PM Flag

HZNP is known to copy others. Originally, it copied VRX and now it is copying DEPO Nucynta sale force.
Well, big difference between Nucynta and an orphan drug which has limited and known patients.
Why does HZNP throw so many salesmen at Krystexxa? This is not Duexis vs ibuprofen to convince doctors to go for Duexis instead of ibuprofen even though both are the same.
Must be a problem finding patients. I do not think Krystexxa disappointing sale can be solved with more salesmen. Bottom line, I think Krystexxa is a failed drug and HZNP cannot recoup its money.

Well, don't mix a roll-up with some solid companies with real R&D.
JNJ, CELG and GILD are green and there is a strong reason for it. JNJ and GILD not only pay dividend but also have excellent balance sheet and real R&D. CELG is a growth stock with excellent pipeline in addition to strong balance sheet.
Problem with HZNP is lack of real R&D and dependency on VRX model for its business. Stocks that avoid price gouging and put money in R&D are respected and they are given much higher multiple. ACOR is an example.

semi, did u buy on Oct 21? How other long did buy on Oct 21?
You and I know the answer.
How about shorts? Did anyone short on Oct 21? I do not think so. Most shorts who have held the short position got prices above $30. So, you are barking at a wrong tree.

Specialty price gouger VS Orphan drug gouger

    by goof_goof93 Feb 7, 2016 3:02 PM
    short_is_good_baboly short_is_good_baboly Feb 7, 2016 9:26 PM Flag

Yes, HZNP has become an orphan drug roll-up, thinking that it can reduce or divert the attention from its specialty drugs. However, HZNP action may be more harmful to the system since orphan patients may have no other choice. This is the same thing Shkreli did. He went after a drug with no competition. In Shkreli case, it took some time for competition to jump in but he could make millions in that time period. Unfortunately, for an orphan drug, time is much longer and les or no competition. This is like putting a fox to guard the hen house.

Are trying to change the subject? Stay with the subject instead of going dirt road. If you want literature then find it at other places. I am telling investors ( not the dreamers) with reasons and logic that HZNP will go lower in near future. I was saying it at the end of December of last year when it was trading above $22. Now, I am saying it again that HZNP has room to drop another 20% to 30% more by next few weeks and months. If you do not like it then give your reasons instead of changing the subject and pointing to unrelated things

They project 2020 and investors will yawn and they go to their computers to pull the trigger, exactly like Feb 2.

  • short_is_good_baboly by short_is_good_baboly Feb 5, 2016 7:52 PM Flag

    ABBV down 6.41%
    CELG down 3.96%
    AMGN down 3.25%
    JNJ down 3.26%
    DEPO down 3.93%
And HZNP down only 3.65%. HZNP should have been down over 7% but some have hope for Monday CC.
It does not matter since HZNP is heading for $12. It has to touch its precious low and market has given some HZNP shareholders a chance to exit before they see the worst of it.

  • short_is_good_baboly short_is_good_baboly Feb 5, 2016 7:45 PM Flag

Any hope for Monday CC, I just remind you of Feb 2 that HZNP had an event. What did happen in that day? HZNP marked its lowest price in the recent weeks.
Some have hope for Monday but they will be very disappointed badly. Even good news can't do anything in this market. Look at GILD with its recent Q4 report. It can't be better than this for GILD but look at it today and you wish you should never touch the stock.

What a dumb question. Who lost money in the proxy war. HZNP shareholder lost money. DEPO shareholders lost money. Who started the proxy war and he did not want to stop at any price until the court waken up the guilty party. Hello, are you there, what don't you stop and go after another acquisition, yes Crealta is blinking at you while robbing its hands. Creata is about to win a lottery ticket with odd of 100%.
