Previously, some investors speculated that TW and ginger are the same person. This speculation became stronger when he sold out his entire position just before the stock crushed from $30 to $15. I mean, the stock went under $28 several times and rebounded until the last drop when it was different and there was not any rebound. How did he know to sell right before the crash unless someone hinted him.
Anyway, he bragged about his action with no shame while many investors who listened to him got some big losses.
Talking about ginger, he admires himself more than anybody else, even more than TW. Any chance he gets, he advertise for himself. Blowing air frequently, I remember that once he claimed that he is the best investor in the world. But he was crushed after recent HZNP dropped from $39 to $15. I think someone, probably an insiders, hinted him to sell around $25 before the stock went to $15. He says he has MBA but his math skills is lower than algebra-1. He does not understand technical at all. He became a trader or he was a trader before. He mixes subjects depending on his position. I notice he brings up some negative subjects when he is buying and positive subjects when he is selling. Kind of miniature of sfvictim. Poor HZNP shareholders who have to deal with these manipulators.
Holidays and people need more relaxing drugs.
DEPO should sell some music to go with Nucynta.
TW is not God as some like ginger are implying. I know some investors are closing their eyes and ears and say TW is doing this and that and it must be good and correct. This herd mentality is a disaster in investment world. Even Warren Buffett makes big mistakes and he only knows certain investments strategy. He does not dare to touch something he does not understand. But TW is a kind of person who touches things he does not understand or he shoots in dark and he has been lucky so far. Remember that Buffett is helped by some guru research team and unfortunately TW is lack this important part of investment. Did anyone advised TW that DEPO acquisition is the most wrong path for the company even after DEPO rejected to talk or answer to HZNP? Did TW thought about consequence of his illogical behavior and risking shareholders?
Why was TW running like a chicken without a head and throwing all kind of paperwork to prove nothing. Fortunately, TW was lucky again not because of his weird behavior but because he did not understood the law. DEPO knew that it is dealing with an inexperienced CEO so the court gave HZNP some lessons. Well, TW got lucky again to avoid the acquisition. It was not because TW knew what he is doing but because he got lucky.
Why did TW buy DEPO shares at its record prices while it had chance to buy them at low $20s or eeven under $20?
Does TW and his CFO know anything about share price and timing and valuation of a stock? No wonder, TW is ready to issue shares and dilutes HZNP shareholders at any day as he did in past. TW does not understand this concept that value of a company eventually will be based on number of shares and those shares that are issued mindlessly eventually will bite the company.
I see TW has started to show his weaknesses and did not get lucky with CREALTA.
Crystexxa is extremely expensive, only 45% effective, it takes over 2 hours under control of a team to be implemented and it has infusion and other serious side effects.
This new pill will costs a fraction of Crystexxa and no need to go to a clinic for infusion.
Crealta people probably knew TW very well. They all come from old Abbott marketing team. God knows how convinced TW to pay $510m for something they bought for only $110m. Was TW desperate after DEPO failure? Was TW in his right mind? TW behavior was strange when he was dealing with DEPO.
First, it was insisting on DEPO while shareholders were suffering.
Second, he was fooled by a few sharks from his old days in ABT.
Crealta guys are sharks who make a company with minimum and sell at high premium.
Those guys are Crealta knew they found a desperate company and desperate CEO who has to close a deal before year end.
It is 200 mg pill and no need for 2 hours infusion process.
The FDA was expected to render a final decision on Zurampic by Dec 29, 2015. FDA approval was largely expected as the Arthritis Advisory Committee had issued a favorable opinion in Oct 2015.
Zurampic (200 mg) is currently under review in the EU. Late last week, the European Medicines Agency’s Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use issued a positive opinion in favor of approving the drug in combination with an XOI for the adjunctive treatment of hyperuricaemia in gout patients (with or without tophi) who have not achieved target sUA levels with an adequate dose of an XOI alone.
"Zurampic provides a new treatment option for the millions of people who may develop gout over their lifetimes."
Helps millions but not only 50k. Well, 50k are welcome to use it too.
Well, the chronic 50k can try it too. Well, it may not leave anyone for HZNP expensive drug.
Zurampic can be used for all patients and leave less and less patients for HZNP.
This is just approved and it covers chronic and regular patients. Why pay $70k when you can pay a fraction of that and get better results.
****** How much do you think the PPS will drop tomorrow? ******
Mostly depends on the market. Most sellers are thru mutual funds. Retails may have some effects too.
After all, there are opportunists and day traders who milk the stock by selling in every rally and then buy back at low. Oh, do not forget the short sellers who short at open and cover when the stock is way down.
This pattern repeats all the time.
Somebody is playing it the same every day.
this is not tax selling but selling period because DEPO is dead money. no hope for anything, from acquisition or to be acquired. It is just lucky it is not in $15s and lower.
What? Anybody can understand what ginger is talking about? He may have something in mind but he is going back and forth with could, would...
