    A big week for AMRN

    Hey TraderOptionJoeRoth guy
You gave us couple weeks reprieve from your senseless posts. Were you on vacation?
Now you're back saying "keep long" with one alias, and "Sell, sell, sell, sell" with another. Will posting both sides help you make more pennies per post?
Hopefully this response earns you a couple nickles. Enjoy!

Akanz - Amarin is not trying to avoid a partnership. According to them, they're actively seeking it. I can't believe that AZN or GSK would just let Vascepa go to some other company in Europe. My thought is that one of these is interested in buying AMRN outright. So they sign a partnership agreement for Europe to avoid getting anyone else involved. The money the spend up front in cash to secure Europe market will come right back to them upon buyout after RI. I think this partnership goes down right after interim. They only want to get past the remote possibility of futility. Once they are past that, they sign the dotted line. And my guess is that the $1M future payment Gabor found is the guarantee that the deal will go down. And it's why AMRN has let cash go so low without diluting or refinancing up to this point. The recent surge in shareprice and volume may be a sign that Wall Street knows this is going down and is building their position.
All speculation on my part but this is why i'm keeping money on the table.

A- i didn't argue that they would stop cash burn but they will slow it. What I'm saying is that a partership with upfront payment of 50M from AZN or GSK (for example) would completely blow the roof off the stock. that would give them the cash they need to finish RI plus it would tell us who the future suitor is.
Your history of trading in and out is very good so i feel like I'm in good company taking some profits here. But i'll not join you on the sideline due to the partnership hypothesis.

I understand the need to be cautious with profits. I swing 50K shares myself. My current holding range is 80k-130k shares, and I'm at the lower end of that range due to the recent run.
The reason I always keep a sizeable investment is fear of missing the boat if a partnership deal is announced. Not missing the boat after following this for so long. Don't you think it's possible that they have let cash get down to nearly all time lows for a reason? Could that reason be a deal contingent on NCE and interim not showing futility? What has price and volume done since NCE? And what are the odds of futility? Could this explain the mysterious $1M Gabor found in future payments?
The last 4 weeks script growth is just normal fluctuation. The growth slope for 2016 is around +160 Retail Rx's per week with a slight upward bend. i.e. - we progress 1000 rx every 6 weeks or so. There are spikes and dips between each 1000 range. This year's slope is much higher than the last few years which were around +90 per week. With the institutional shares added we'll end the year selling a little over 20K Rx per week...assuming RI continues. As JT said, enough growth to be cash flow positive minus R&D expenses.
Also, i understand the overall market can have an impact but it could have the opposite impact than what you expect. Just like today, the IBB is selling off while AMRN is pushing up. When the market turns bearish, finding a little gem like AMRN where Rev growth isn't tied to economy could just make this an island of investment prosperity.
    JMO/Guess. Good luck.

you're interacting with chief message board clerk lil' troll. In his world, there is no life outside of this message board. There is no real world. In his words, "If a share is traded, but doesn't have a message board announcement of the trade, was it really traded?"

But i thought EPA was no big deal? According to the chief message board clerk (lil' troll) EPA is a joke. It's just 'decades old Japanese fish oil.'

Good Morning Message Board Management Clerks

they're crying whether price is up or down because they're completely useless in shaking shares out of retail. They're cracking under the pressure of being on their handler's poor clerk performance list.

  • I haven't checked in on you for a while. Just making sure you're still desperate, sad, angry little men. I trust that you are but if you could respond with copy and paste answers from your shortfishfry file, that would be great. :)

  • I have seen your daddy's footprint on shortvolume web site. two weeks of high short volume and you magically appear. Good luck with the harvest lil troll.

I see Gimp is introducing himself. He shows up as a shadow post for me. Traderjoenam, Traderjoe1=9, Optionjoe1-9, trainingnutt1-9, mariospaz, cennturycom (2 nn's), swalchie2, and the list goes on and on. I think lil' troll keeps him in a dungeon for use and abuse on many levels. ;)

vic. I'm not a pumper. I don't work on wall street. I'm an investor. I have a passion for investing in something I believe in. And I'm not passive in letting paid message board clerks, the lowest #$%$ of wall street, have their way with me and others.
If you searched my posting history you see I have fun confronting these trolls. I have given them names (lil' troll and gimp) and put a description on what they do (Message board clerks). And I like to respond with truth when 'lil' troll's' lies cross the line. This is the bulk of my posting history. I'm not asking anyone to buy or sell. I do try to tell these idiots why they can't get longs to sell but that's not a buy recommendation...just an explanation to help them understand why they're failing...and for this they hate me. But their hate is what keeps me coming back for more. I obviously strike a nerve with them and I think that's hilarious. Yes, I know it's a waste of time and immature, but I'm bored while on conference calls all day. This is a great way to get a laugh.

$12 for Thero is way too much!

I can't argue that he's collecting bonuses for things that apparently have no impact on stock price, but to be fair he didn't make $12M in 2015. HDGabor, as usual, brought us all back to reality with post 79564 on IH:

"First of all, it is so funny that people were shocked at least 3 times by the same “payment”:
    1. when granted
    2. when vested
    3. when reported
and do not read the details

    JT 2015 salary looks like:

    Salary (cash): $518 333
    Bonus (cash): $638,000
    - 2015 MICP bonus: $338 000
    - First Amendment litigation: $ 150 000
    - NCE: $150 000

Total cash (before tax) in 2015: $1,156,333

    RSU: valued for $8,621,850

    - 780,000 @ 1.02 = $795,600: vest in three equal annual installments on each of January 31, 2016, January 31, 2017 and January 31, 2018. (2015: $0)
    - 600,000 @ 2.50 = 1,500,000: vest in sixteen equal quarterly installments beginning on September 30, 2015. (2015: 75,000 @ 2.50 = $187,500, market value = $135,000 @ 1.80)
    - 2,535,500 @ 2.50: $6,326,250: vest upon achievement of certain financial and clinical performance goals. To date, none of the specified criteria have been achieved. (2015: $0) [I assume it will vest in case of successful R-IT only]

Total (before tax) in 2015: $187,500 (market value: $135,000)

Option: valued for $ 2,995,049 (option value / payable to exercise: $3,908,000)
    - 400,000: $316 642 @ 0,79 (option value / payable to exercise: $1.02 per share)
    - 1,400,000: $2,678,407 @ 1,91 (option value / payable to exercise: $2.50 per share)

Part of it was vested in 2015 (see details in Proxy), but none of them was exercised.

Total (before tax) in 2015: $0)

JT’s total cash (inc. market value of vested 75,000 RSUs) in 2015: $1,291,333"

okay Gimp. I'm not chained here like you so I'm off to better things but I'll come back in a couple weeks. Make sure you use the master alias "Shortfishfry" while I'm gone. That will give you the self assurance needed to know you're more than a message board clerk.
p.s. - Make sure you have your depression pills ready in 2 weeks, and keep your chin up no matter what you find out about yourself while i'm gone. ;)

  • shortfishfry shortfishfry Apr 22, 2016 2:05 PM Flag

Gimp's hero worship of me reminds me of the William Wallace story. Except I don't have 1000's of disciples.
I have just one dumb Gimp for now. Sigh

  • shortfishfry shortfishfry Apr 21, 2016 11:17 AM Flag

I'll take this as your way of bowing to me, your Master. ;)
Now get back to work Gimp.

  • shortfishfry shortfishfry Apr 21, 2016 9:17 AM Flag

Not to brag...BUT...when i can stop by so infrequently yet do so much mental damage to our resident Message Board Management clerk that he thinks I'm everyone including himself...well, that's tough to beat. :)
I commend those of you helped me push Gimp over the edge but in the end, he thinks I'm everyone...I'm his Master. How can you top that?

We cracked him folks! Gimp finally flew over the cuckoos nest. :)
