I rec’d a call from H&R today; this is what I was told:
If I e-filed both my Fed and State the bank routing numbers would appear on both forms for the refund.
If I elected to e-file my Fed and THEN MAIL IN my MO-1040 to the state I will not be able to get my refund check direct deposited to my bank. I was told that that was one of the benefits of e-filing the State.
I guess that this case is closed.
Thanks again Bill and the folks at H&R for straitening me out.

I rec’d a call from the tier 2 group at H&R 2/16/14. I spoke with two different ladies one being a supervisor. I was on the phone from 3:11 PM thru 4:45 PM going over my previous post with these two HR representatives… What a joke, neither one was listening to me. One was referring to the Federal and Illinois; I said no, the Federal and Missouri. I had to correct her twice on that during our conversation… It’s Missouri I am talking about. They ended up telling me that they will forward this problem onto a higher tier. I don’t think they really understood the problem.
The bottom line for FORM MO-1040 there is NO BANK ROUTING INFORMATION (no empty blocks for direct deposit INFO) on line 46. Last year (2012) line 46 had three blocks to put the information in. 46 a) Routing number, b) Account number, c) Checking/Savings number. THEY ARE MISSING FROM THE 2013 MO-1040. I’TS THAT SIMPLE.
I KEPT SAYING GO TO THE MO-1040 FORM. THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO MAKE UP INFORMATION IN ORDER TO SEE WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. I SAID NO YOU DON’T JUST GO TO THE BLANK FORM, SCROLL DOWN TO LINE 46 AND YOU WILL SEE THAT THERE ARE NO BLANK BLOCKS AT LINE 46 (a, b, OR c).
THEN THEY SAID MAYBE MISSOURI HAD H&R REMOVE THAT INFORMATION. I SAID NO I WENT TO THE MISSOURI FORM LINK… GUESS WHAT ….LINE 46 A, B, & C ARE ON THE STATE FORM.
I am soooooo frustrated with H&R…
THEY SAID THAT THEY WILL SEND IT UP TO THE NEXT TIER.

    SORRY OT:
    I called H&R support about this problem I have… it’s simple enough.

First off I am getting a refund from the State of Missouri.
In the H&R Background Worksheet for the State block #7 I have both of my Routing Transfer Numbers filled in and have Checking checked off.
When I go to the MO-1040 form that I will mail to the State, the Routing numbers are nowhere to be found. They should be on Line 46 a., b., & c. as they were on the 2012 tax form. For some reason that information is missing from this year’s H&R software.

It was suggested by a H&R tech that I spoke with that I mail in the worksheet to the State that has the Routing numbers. I said it sounds as if you are brushing this off. I was then given a reference number and informed that I will be given a call any time after Monday 8:30 am.

I think I might get better results by posting this on the MB. Hopefully someone high up the chain will look into this.
