    New Filing by Meridian

I agree, however Chairman of the Board is Michael Davis. Davis currently owns 19.6% of the company so Meridian still doesn't have as much ownership in CYAN as does Davis:

"Michael A. Davis—63: Mr. Davis was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company in March 2003. He was appointed to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors on April 13, 2011. Mr. Davis is a Principal at Ebb and Flow Ventures, a private equity firm; President of Skywords Family Foundation and a Director of Canobie Films, Inc. Mr. Davis attended Harvard University."

He does have skin in the game, but the other ~80% of the holders of the shares indeed would like to have some idea of the direction and goals of the company. It IS a public company although the communication has been more like that of a private company.

Excellent to see BSQR in the $4.90 per share level. This is a great opportunity for a profitable and growing company with excellent balance sheet.

Pretty impressive that FLEX has been growing revenue and has beaten earnings in 3 of the most recent 3 quarters. Stock is heading up.

Yes, you are right, the sales price was indeed larger than the gain which was $12.3 million. Thanks for clarifying. I agree PFIN is trading at a huge bargain.

I was going through old messages and noted this which claimed Astaxhanthin would build up in your system if it has a 16 hr half life and you take it daily. I believe it will initially build but will quickly reach an equilibrium. For example, if you take 12 mg per day, you will soon reach a cycle with a low level of 6.6 mg daily min and 18.6mg daily maximum and will not build up further but will stay in that range.

More profit rolls in. Balance sheet even better. Outstanding shares remain constant. Shareholder equity increases to over $84 million. IOT is even more undervalued than last quarter.

Company is probably worth (tangible net assets + 10*annual net income) = $34 million + $24 million = $58 million That puts it above $16.11 per share. Beautifully undervalued.

P&F got $12.3 million in profit from the sale of one quarter of its business. The Nationwide (Hardware) Division had revenue of $21.4 million last year. PFIN sold that off for $12.3 million. The Pneumatic and Hytec Divisions (Tools) had revenue of $60.3 million last year. These are the two divisions that are continuing operations. Their total combined revenue of all divisions last year was $81.7 million.

I too did not see any payment made from Cyanotech. The suit was settled without payment to Valensa. I believe Meridan has this correct. Meridian has most things correct. The one thing I am still a bit skeptical on is that Meridian's conclusion that Cyanotech forced Bailey out. Cyanotech did not pay a large golden parachute to Bailey. This was a pretty standard, modest non-compete payment plan. Nothing extravagant in it. I could see that Bailey may have initiated the resignation. To me, the terms of the deal did not look large and didn't look like Cyanotech forced Bailey out. Bailey may have some other opportunities and felt that the production issues limited his impact at Cyanotech. I still think there is a high likelihood CYAN will grow and build value.

The company brought in profits again and looks quite healthy. NATR is looking like a bargain as enterprise value is only $130 million. Net cash provided by operating activities was $2.9 million compared to $0.9 million of cash used in operating activities for the three months ended March 31, 2015. Will likely see a 50% rise this year.

Can you say cash cow? Beautiful. FONR is growing. It grew 9% in the past year. More cash flows in. Margins are strong. I was hoping for $3 million in net income. The company beat those expectations by +30%. They are earning significantly more profit than in the prior year. FONR’s centers are on the cutting edge of technology and efficiency. They have a beautiful balance sheet with tangible net assets of over $56 million. Over the next 10 years the company is likely to earn over $100 million. Intrisically it is worth over $160 million. There are only 6.2 million share outstanding. This company could easily rise to over $30 per share.

Revenue was higher than latest quarter and was higher than expectations. A whale of sales: Sales for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 were $55.4 million, compared to $50.0 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, an increase of 11%. Strong orders! Earnings were also higher than expected. Net income for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 was $5.4 million, or $0.27 diluted per share. People had been too pessimistic on this one, and we will likely see $30 per share this year.

  • HNRG blew away estimates. The company is again showing strong profits. Analysts expected $66.8 million in revenue and $1.5 million in net income. Hallador Energy (HNRG) reported revenue of $76 million and earnings of $6.2 million for the quarter. This is huge!
HNRG stock is likely to go back over $8 per share.

Exactly, Downes actions are proof that he KNOWS that UVE is currently WAY undervalued. I read my proxy today also. This is a bold move to give away a sure thing (290,250 already-earned shares at $0 per share purchase price) to be replaced by 800,000 shares that are priced at the close of June 9th. Currently, Downes has very little incentive to get the stock price up before June 9 (in fact he is probably hoping it stays down here or goes lower), but in 1 month, his incentive to get the stock price up is enormous. Only if someone was nearly certain the stock would go over $30 per share would they do such an incentive swap. Indeed, UVE is a screaming buy!

BSQR earned profits and their balance sheet is even stronger.
Enterprise value is only $41 million. We could easily see 50% rise from here in 2016.
