Sounds counterintuitive buying back 8150 shares since IMOS had to sell a sizable 8150 stake in order to reduce ownership to list in Taiwan in the first place. Are they allowed to buyback 8150 shares after the move to the TSE is completed?
Why do so many say it is a Hong Kong hedge fund that is shorting NQ? The hedge fund could be located anywhere in the world and could be more than one for that matter.
Since yahoo doesn't allow links, google "ChipMOS 南茂科技 youtube" to find it. Was uploaded 2 days ago by a user called "Ir Chipmos". Looks like an introductory video for the company for Chinese/Taiwanese investors.
Most are saying the 8150 TSE uplisting should happen in late April or in May. So how long afterwards before IMOS bermuda shares are converted to ADRs? A month or two afterwards or do you think longer?

UPDATED 06:27 PM ET | NQ Mobile is trying to recover from big sell-off sparked by a negative report by Muddy Waters Research that caused the stock to lose 47% of its value in one day. Although NQ has recouped a large portion of losses, a base from here would be flawed because of the deep slide on the left side. If the stock is going to become a true leader again, significant time must pass before the damage is repaired. Backstory: The company develops mobile security products and productivity software for the mobile market. On Oct. 24, short seller Muddy Waters Research published a report that said the company's Chinese security revenue was fictitious. The company said the report was false. On Jan. 15, the company announced it was collaborating with Sprint on Mobile Live, Sprint's desktop for Android devices in the U.S. NQ says it will deliver a package of apps, widgets, shortcuts and wallpaper for Sprint customers' use.

Why would you expect any news from the annual shareholder's meeting? All that usually happens during an annual meeting is the measures get passed. Any business related news they wanted to share with investors they would already done so during investor day last month followed by subsequent press releases.
