Hey Nomadinx, i have a few questions. First i am not bashing you at all. I have been reading the posts for a short time here and just wonder, why you say so much about this stock. It does sound like a bashers statements mostly, but they seem accurate. But with falling oil prices it does not take being a rocket scientist to know this stock was going to fall and the div too. So again, what do you get out of all these predictions. You spend a lot of time here and just wondering why. Is there a point that you will enter this stock? I must admit, it is looking attractive for the long run, assuming they stay in business. Even with no div, it appears it could easily double, even if oil only goes to 75 in 12 to 18 months. I might test the water at around 5 or under. What do you think about that. Would love to hear back from you on both questions. Happy Holidays to all.
This is all a scam, and i will be happy to see the law suits start. There has t be a way to protect the little guys and stop the big boys from screwing with the pps and div. I am really tired of the cos. like SDRL and the lies and broken promises that affect elderly and people on fixed incomes that depend on the div, for there food and utilities. Where are the &%$#&@ lawyers now??
Yes i agree about the 18%, but to just eliminate it all together is bs. They should have cut it by 50% and not totally screw everyone.
Yes I agree. You need a million dollars to get that much monthly and many or most here do not have that much. This board is meant to help people and not brag or cause them harm. Good luck to all.
Yes, I own both sdrl and psec and have done well overall. sdrl is a better one for the long term, it will go up to 50 dollars within a few years and still pay the 11% div. also. psec is also good, except for times like these, but it seems to always come back and the divvy is great. These are the times to buy more when they go a little sour, or are beaten down by some bad reports. But they will always come back. Sometimes you just have to be a little patient. This is a good time to buy sdrl and as it goes down buy more. Good luck to all, except the liars here, lol.
The worst scenario is owning it right now, i just sol all of mine 2 dollars ago. Just waiting for the bottom. Good luck and be careful with this one.
I wonder if there is going to be a div increase and get back to what it was a few months ago. Gold is going up now and the share price has come back a lot, Anyone have a feeing about this stocks div.
By the way, did your mom have any kids that lived, lol. All you do is waste your worthless time and ours too. They need to invent a few new words to describe you. Idiot and loser are not enough. Get lost loser!!!
I wonder what Credit Suisse is smoking. I think lots of reports we get from so-called experts are totally wrong. I use to listen to our good friend Jim C. and many times he is wrong also. I feel that SDRL is good for now with the large div and that it will bounce back nicely in time. I am tired of selling and losing money on what the experts say. If they were always so right, then they would not need to work and just retire with all the gains, lol.I am long on SDRL and short on Credit Suisse. GLTU
If my calculations are correct, last years div. were 13.1 per share. On 4/17/13 we got .0766 and on 10/18/13 we got another .0544 for a total of .131 per share for 2013. That is less then 1% at the current price. I may not be the smartest banana here, or am I missing something?? I am just waiting for the break even and then I will sell unless I hear or see some reason to stay with it for a profit, lol. Good luck to all and if I am wrong please correct me
what planet have you been on lol, that was a long time ago that this happened. Hopefully soon it will go back to .12
