Either Crammayr & some analyst are offbase or this thing is going to gap-up huge after earnings on 12/12......CIEN has been delivering profits all year, so why not now, again - I think they will.
Many have been burned by CIEN, so the skeptics & shorts have legs.......to me, CIEN should be trading at 35, right now, based on trading CIEN, since 1998......it's had it's ups & downs, but didn't go BK....CIEN appears to have fully integrated the Nortel acquisition. Estimates are for between 0.19 - 0.26.....I think 0.31 is possible.
Forward guidance is everything, here....FNSR just reported a good quarter & positive fwd guidance, and CIEN mirrors them, so we already know it will be a good quarter, IMO.....hope all the orders that were suppose to get in this Q got in and not pushed into this quarter.....that can ruin a earnings release.
Anyway, I'm holding lots of shs and won't sell until 40.
Consensus is a profit of 0.19 cents.....anyone know the rev forcast.....I predict earnings of 0.24 and positive guidance, with huge backlog of orders for their outstanding fiber optic gear. CIEN has been beating the estimate all year and are very profitable, finally after years......CIEN should be trading around $34 at this moment, just my opinion, very undervalued...breakout over $30 coming
open at 74, IMO....FDA says no safety concerns....good news....it's positive, but time will tell.....BMRN hit 85 a month ago on a 8 point gap-up.....I wouldn't be surprised if BMRN hits 90 soon, simply because there is no competition for these meds.....there simply isn't any medicine treatment for the illness.
BMRN trades wildly like REGN.....could hit 95 tomorrow......
Crmer said on Mad Money that Regn is the place to be when it was at 310 and not to buy, but wait for a pull back around 275....RGEN has a chloresteral lower drug in development that none of the side effects of many of the others......I have a buy order in for Monday...I'm hoping to get some at 273, if I'm lucky......the future is bright with this Co
IMO, back in Sept., FBC set aside loan loss provisions for the recent Fannie Settlement, but the amount was around 190m, I think.....the amount announced was 113m....what that means is the other 77m will be put back into circulation on the balance sheet and will be accretive to earnings in the next earnings report, so therefore look for a huge blow-out, one-time earnings report in 2014. IMO, FBC will at 23+ within 6 months......this is why you buy the dips in price....you hafta buy & hold this a few years to get the full effect of the turnaround.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
nice to hear something positive, I thought I got BMRN cheap at 71, after it hovered around 76.....now 59.....pain pain pain.....excuse me
When does Hepistav go b4 Europe's FDA for approval? Anytime line as to when that will happen?
Actually, I think SNV is a sure bet......the gap-up happens quickly, so you have to in the stock when it happens.....I was in SNV at 2.68 and it stayed there for months and months, then quickly to the next plateau of 3.40.....what is happening now is simply consolidation, getting prepared to the next plateau, that is if you can wait that long and if the earnings support the move. A lot of investors think regionals will soar in 2014.
I do....I also hold FBC & ETFC & C
ETFC has been the subject of buyout for several years, but it hasn't happened due to legacy issues and hidden questions in the loan portfolio.....some of that is being put behind them rather quickly and with the delay on the taper and low interest rates for the forseeable future, IMO ETFC might be bought for $24+ a share by Christmas.....just my thoughts, only.....no concrete basis for making this call. The IPO market is bubble hot.....and there is tons of cash on the sidelines not committed to the stock market and people are selling bonds in high amounts - there is lots of cash to be spent right now......
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Wrong wrong...Willy is doing a great job.....don't forget he inherited the #$%$ campy left him......after he left, FBC loses a suit to Assuarty and more........Willy is just taking this year fixing what was left him.......with low interest rates until at least 2015, regional banks will thrive....Buy FBC and hold it and you will be very happy. Willy is a HONEST conservative, doing the right things for the long term, not for the short fix.....stay long FBC
Your forgetting the "no hurricanes so far this year" factor......add another $1.00 to EPS.....then consider the multiple Travelers Group is getting vs AIG's multiple......AIG should be trading around $65 right now,.....then wait until next blow-out earnings.....$60 by Dec. 1, IMO
DRAD is moving up.....light volume....moved to Atlanta, that sounds good; Outsoucing usually saves money...hum, that's also good.....at $2.73, it looks like a run ahead of earnings on 10/31/13....I think we break $3.00, $3.50 if earnings turn positive.....could get bought with all the froth in the markets...big pharm has lots of cash to buy little guys like DRAD.....just my 0.02 cents.
Buy DRAD, IMO
