They can not answer CPI Aero is just plain pitiful and has a management void. I think nobody would do better than what they have in place.

What a mess! Who promoted this inexperienced person to CEO. He has presided over the decline of the share price from $16 to $6.65 during his almost 2 and a half year debacle. He has lost any semblance of confidence from the investment community. His presence is laughable. They should hide him from the public, potential customers and people in general. They have zero prospects and are cash strapped and no they longer do investor presentations since they have not a positive thing to discuss.
Is this clown mortified, I wonder?

  • The stock tanked on a market up day .Since then I accrued 6 thumbs down while the stock finished the week down on volume after my post of 3,000 + shares, 1,500 shares and 4,500 shares since then.
Obviously, for a stock that traded a total of $63,000 worth of shares IN THREE DAYS that is an awful lot of thumbs down. Almost a thumbs down from every insider, because quite frankly nobody else trades or follows this company.

Keep posting thumbs down. It is great. It shows your paranoia and fear of exposure.
Gee whiz, no more investor conferences? Of course not! What can you possibly present that is not embarrassing. To start 2014 the stock was at $16, then you changed CEO's and promoted an insider who has been part of the problem and in his 2+ year tenure he has driven this stock down to $6.93. Does the CFO still play free cell all day? Don't you boys miss your golf outings.
I am sure your corporate governance is making you take salary cuts for failing to perform. The shareholders at least deserve that. Heck, if they cut your pay in half Doug, Vince and the Gruman reject you would all still stay there because you are unemployable anywhere else.

    Thumbs down now failures. LOL!

And as we all see now so clearly, their ROI on their Paris vacation was zero. What a waste of money. Does the board realize that the investment community and potential customers they target do not take them seriously at all. It is mortifying to meet a CEO that uses phrases like our 2nd best year ever, and still assigns blame to an old issue like the A-10. What big wins has he ever had. What institutionals have line up behind in having faith in him. When you can not connect with customers or the investment community you are in the wrong position.
Yup our revenue will be the 3rd bestest quarter in 6 years but we will make less money. You jokers. Stop wasting the ever shrinking shareholders dollar. Road shows, road shows? Jokers. You are always avoided like the plague. Where is your slide that your stock price is at it's third worstest level ever. You bumbling buffoons

    The Paris Air Show

One poster used to complain about the company spending money on charitable golf outings. But what about this? How much do you think they're spending to go to Paris? And how many people do you think they sent? Burning through cash, losing profitability, and I'd bet my house on the fact that they have their largest presence ever. I don't know where Mandaskara has gone, but I'll bet he could give us these answers.

Does anyone have the ability to find this information out? I'll bet it is more than all the golf outings combined! Less

  • AWM Investment Company unloaded 77,000 shares.
Study the financials folks, the latest earnings release and projections are alarming. The analysts that cover CVU all downgraded their earnings projections for each quarter and for next year and 2017.

Salhem1, shorting now is dangerous as this stock can be manipulated on phantom volume. However, the health of the company is bleak and the Street has no confidence in an overwhelmed management. If you do not see any wholesale changes I would definitely short them because their next stop at the rate they are stagnating to shrinking could cause them to eventually become defunct IMHO. If you do your own DD to you will see the where the couple of analysts came from that follow this stock, Their investment houses are almost in as poor shape as this wretch of a company. GL

whenever they can't refute facts they assign thumbs down. The CPI CFO needs to be as diligent with his accounting practices as he is with posting thumbs down to avoid a tsunami of all that is bad.

  • The B.O.D. needs to remove the failing management.
    Look at today's article:
CPI Aerostructures Inc. of Edgewood reported Monday its net income fell to $700,000 for the fourth quarter of 2015, compared to $1 million a year earlier, and it said its auditor discovered a weakness in its internal financial controls.......Nice job CFO.

And the CEO ? Please he is so immature and in over his head that nobody respects him. He has decimated the company. Read how they had to get a line of credit. They have a lien on essentially all of their assets.
    What a mess!
Who oversees these jokers. And the CEO hires a guy that was being dumped from Gruman at a low level position to be a VP of Procurement? He is a walking morale killer and a lawsuit waiting to happen and they new this before Gruman cut him loose.

And the wet behind the ears analysts from the micro companies that cover them, just added a black mark to their resume's for being naive and not probing what they covered while everyone else saw the overdrawn collapse play out.

As I was saying. Case closed. People can read financials and see years of failures. Nobody pays attention to thumbs down.
What a brutal holding for some of the lesser known institutional s, that now seem to be cutting their losses.

They try to bury that they are forecasting that they at are projecting zero to perhaps less revenue in 2016.
Also their GPM is shrinking whether or not you factor in the A-10 or not.
    What a horrible business model.
Is there any wonder why they never obtain any investors after they do Investor Presentations with material like that. What a sad joke.

  • They have to exit quietly without collapsing the share price on themselves.

  • 8 cents for the quarter versus their own and the analysts saying 32 cents. Year end 58 cents versus $1 something. Then they announce they NEED a new credit line. They have to borrow more?
No warning no notification drop the load on the Monday after Easter Sunday and then say they will have a conference call today @ 11:00 am!!!!!!!!! No day after earnings announcement? Basically 3 hours notice after they lay an egg on the day after Easter after being 23 days late.

They can not even do that in a timely fashion, just like missing their shipment dates. Is there any wonder now as to why nobody places orders of any value with them. Boeing has walked away from this morass, and more will follow. DEAD MONEY. DYING COMPANY.

    Mac,
    Next week?
Let me know how that works out for you.

  • ConocoPhillips biggest problem right now is that it has a management team that has lost the trust of investors. After spending a year telling investors that its dividend was safe, the company went against its word. In doing so, it destroyed a reputation that took quite a while to build, and now will take even longer to rebuild. That could come back to haunt the company later because, not only will its own investors be reluctant to stick with the company, but it will have a hard time wooing new investors, given its tarnished reputation.
