He said that in his first term, yet the feds raided more dispensaries than previous administrations had.
Another hidden positive would be it's effects on the Mexican drug cartels that are pretty much holding Mexico hostage where their citizens are fleeing the country in droves. Making pot legal would cut deep into the Mexican cartels business and could be a big win for immigration.
but then again immigration is another talking point of both parties. They may not want to actually resolve the issue or else they wont have something for their voters to chew on. Job is another talking head issue. With pot legal there wouldn't as much as a need as there is now for DEA, local police and especially the border patrol.
Unfortunately I think our government would rather have it all stand as is.
I didn't think the story was that great. they said the federal government has been staying out of the debate aslong as the dispensaries are within guidelines.
This isn't true.
they've been busting respectfully run dispensaries in Cali, Colorado and Michigan like crazy. I think Rhode Island told them if federal agents come into the state to bust MMJ dispensaries in which citizens of the state voted for, the agents will be arrested.
Some of the busts are off record without warrants.
so Colorado will make it completely legal? as in you can go to a store and buy a cannabis product without a medical card?
Well of course it will. Every year a new state passes it into law.
It's not that hard to forecast that.
What is hard to forecast is whether it will be legalized as the same as alcohol is.
Except google actually now makes interactive TVs, interactive glasses are and pushing the boundaries of science other than creating a search engine.
What does Facebook do or plan to do?
It all has to do with lobbyists. The lumber, cotton, especially oil industries have a lot to lose with cannabis being legal. Pharmaceuticals too considering the fact that their synthetic THC medications although being an exact DNA replica has been reported as being ineffective by patients compared to thc coming straight from the plant.
And for the politicians opening their eyes to the truth will keep it illegal because if they change their story they'll lose voters and be called flip floppers. So they stick to their guns even though Washington D.C. itself has MM laws.
It's funny though that they will approve something that's overall good for you, only for medical use. You can't use it recreationaly, you have to sick or dieing to use it. lol
I like Cannabis, I believe in it.
But that video is kind of lame. What will making your social networking profile picture green going to do to help legalize it.
It's like KONY 2012 but for cannabis. Let's call it KONYbis.
Don't put words in my mouth. All I'm saying is who knows why they were raided. It could have been embezzlement.
ITT Tech was raided a few years ago.
being that you can learn to grow it by watching youtube, reading here and there and experimenting, the oaksterdam university could have been investigated for any type of scam.
Why would you cook the pot in butter to extract the thc and then put the pot back in the butter?
Maybe I'm reading it wrong but that's what I'm getting from your post.
