    Lousy Q4

I actually appreciate the advice. But, then, I like companies like Tofutti. You might consider that...

    Sales were up y/o/y.
    Gross profits were up y/o/y.
    Revenues were up y/o/y.
    And losses were reduced y/o/y.

These is positive signals considering the company's divorce from Trader Joe's.

So the fact is that Tofutti is now (slightly) MORE profitable then they were with TJ's and I expect this trend will continue. As an investor in this company this is what I like to see. Would I like to see more rapid growth? Sure. But the natural foods trend is always gaining steam.

No way. This company has been making a huge turnaround. Volume is also increasing. Like just about every other "natural foods" company, Tofutti will eventually skyrocket. If nothing else, a buyout will take place, although given the nature of the owner, I'd look for this company to continue growing on its own. The company too is still recovering (amazingly well) after parting ways with Trader Joe's.

This stock was hit hard when they decided to part ways with Trader Joes, which was shafting them. Plenty thought they were finished and then lo-and-behold the following year they were nearly back in profits. This is one strong company that has been around for years, and it's been very much overlooked in the natural foods sector until just recently.

    Annie's

Annie's might be down short-term but it's already quickly outpaced Sprouts. This would be expected since Sprouts has substantial long-term debt and they're getting competition from other small grocery stores, especially NGVC, which is quickly outpacing them. Having been to Sprouts I'd argue they're not even a natural grocery but a store that happens to carry some natural products FROM companies like Annies, HAIN, etc. Annie's is like HAIN, a supplier, not a grocery. And unlike a grocey like Sprouts, Annie's has ZERO long-term debt and works with many outlets. And to reiterate, the stock is way, way up over Sprouts. I'd recommend NGVC and Annie's before Sprouts, hands down. In fact, looking at the way the stocks have performed I'm glad I followed my own advice!

I really don't know but I think it will continue to move upward as the company grows. The stock is still way over sold given the popularity of their products and the boom in natural foods in general.

Definitely moving higher but the stock should settle down (finally) as short traders move off. This company is the model for the way natural food retailers are going. Going up, nice and steady, is my guess.

Original buyer here, too. Sold some along the way but NGVC is a long-term winner. This company is the model for the way natural retailers are headed.

I agree. I think NGVC will be swinging higher in a few days. Earnings will be in-line at the very least.
