You need to go perform some research, not DD, but research, you information is incorrect
Had Nokia continued in the direction they were going, Nokia would be in trouble. Elop will probably be recognized as one of the greatest CEO that Nokia, to turn around Nokia on a global scale, there a few CEOs that have the leadership skills to turn a company around on a global scale as is being evidenced with Nokia.
If there were problems in manufacturing, would not have been able to get my wife her new Lumia 928 in the white color that she wanted. We walked in the first day it was sold on the Verizon network, got one. Cant remember the last time we went to a store and you had to wait for a product to be ordered. Folks confuse supply issues with demand issues, the buzz is growing on the Lumia 928, the only problem I would see with availability is Nokia cant make them fast enough. That a problem every manufacturer wishes they had, just cant make them fast enough. So far my wife's experience with her new Lumia 928 has been stellar.
As far as marketing, is it a phone that runs the Window s OS, is it a Nokia phone that has a Windows OS, or is it a phone that can run on a telecom network that just happens to be Nokia and just happens to have a Windows OS? Who has which part of the marketing responsibility?
You cant handle the truth, all you need to worry about is changing your colastamy bag.
Toxic, hardly. When my wife and I were in the Verizon Corporate store right outside of Annapolis MD yesterday to get her new Lumia 928, 3 cadets from the Naval Academy came in the door and made a beeline to the Nokia display. All 3 said they were getting one and at the Naval Academy in Annapolis they told me that there was quite the buzz and excitement about the new Lumia phones. At this point it appears Lumia is selling itself. You know what they say "when the tooth paste comes ouut of the tube it cant be put back in"
The problem with Google is that there is a significant lack of Google smart rechnology in the market place. If Android is so great how come Google isnt beating the pants off os Samsung in smart phones and tablets? Something is very wrong with that picture.
You should not switch, it is better for you to make a decision based on what someone else wrote. You should not take 5 minutes to actually have one in your hand or have a knowledgable person provide you the experience first hand. Exactly why would you want to be able to make up your own mind when it is far preferable for someone to give you the opinion you so desperately seek. If is far better for you to stick with yesterdays technology. You dont need to come to a conclusion all on your own that all the #$%$ that was written about the Windows 8 phone was just that. Better for you to forget you ever heard about the Nokia Windows 8 phone as it is probably beyond your abilities anyway. Enjoy your Samsung or HTC. If you wish I can certainly provide other information that will give you the opinions that you should have. No reason for you to ever come up with any original thoughts of your own.
Based on your vast experience at manufacturing, setting up your supply chain to market into China, exactly how many hundreds of millions of your product made it into the hands of Chinese consumers? Only one that is very experienced such as youself should put forth how well they did. I mean you do have experience that can afford you the opportunity to make that statement correct? If you were so smart and experienced then Nokia would have hired you. Why didnt Nokia offer you that job?
You might want to lighten up on your Apple position.
Verizon is going to find out quickly it under ordered.
I believe on the high end is closer to $60/$70 range, but definitely getting out of sub $5/share is the first step.
No wonder why Apple, Samsung, LG, HTC, Google, and everybody else have been so hell bent to try to influence folks to think this was a nothing product. I have news for them. This Lumi 928 is freeking awesome!!!
Guess we listen until his term is over. Unfortunately you dont have term limits but you do have a foul constitutiin.
It should be up to the carriers to decide the speeds and the protocals that rn on their networks, not a manufacturer of smart phones. Samsung should stick with what is supported and pay attention to their microwave, refrigerator, and washer/dryer business.
At leadt my wife will get a new Lumia 928 this evening as I will wait for the black one to come in.
Apple's day has come and gone when Steve Jobs died and with this latest price fixing scandal that Apple was in directing, perhaps someone is already chiseling Apple's epitaph on its tombstone. Apple is a disaster and much will be written about how a company like Apple could have fallen from such great heights. Looks like $250/share for Apple is coming at this point.
When Nokia breaks $12 howz about you asking for permission to suck Elop's weiner.
When Nokia breaks $12.00 then how about you asking Elop is you can his weiner.
But where is the marketing for the rollout, phone appears to be coming. without the fanfare.
