that is what it appears to me. The headlines where Microsoft is winning over businesses and governments just seems to be accelerating. You cannot help but notice that that the deals for the adoption of Microsoft cloud business in running in the tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands.
I could be wrong, but think in this situation that the value of the shares may not drop because Nokia didn't create profitable revenue from which the dividends are being paid from. Nokia jettisoned what appears to be a money losing proposition with smart devices and gain a boatload of cash, the dividends are being paid out of that with significant dollars left over to invest to build their now existing businesses. They can book the deal as revenue but the billions from Microsoft did not come from ongoing operations that generate revenue day in and day out.
How about connecting electrical wires to their testicles and flipping on the switch a few times. It would only take a couple of minutes to get the truth out of them.
If you could figure out on to turn on your computer, establish a network connection with your ISP, then be able to log into a site and ask these 3 questions, I figure you are smarter than the average bear and are fully capable of finding this information out for yourself
Anything can be written with any bias to make what you want to be believable, the only thing Apple has going for it was that the stock price being pumped. If Apple were so great, the stock price would have continued upwards from $705+ instead of plummeting to around $380/share. Great stocks don't get pumped and dumped.
Company says they have remotely diagnosed that you have mental problems, no cure, and you suffer from ever increasing bouts of chronic stupidity. I've seen a lot of stupid people like yourself, they are everywhere. They walk around like everyone else, they don't even know they are stupid.
This was money that came out of the sale to Microsoft and not as part of the general revenue from profits as an operating concern. Meaning, don't expect the price to drop.
Give all the thumbs down you want, Microsoft will be shown to have the business penetration that Apple will never have. Apple is branded purely to consumers and not business, it was like that when Apple started and it has remained that way, and will be that way in the future. All Apple can do is follow Microsoft's lead at this point and try to make it appear from a pure consumer perspective that Apple has it all over Microsoft. Microsoft is waking up, and no matter how much misleading press there is, at some point in time Apple is going to become apple sauce, it no longer has the cool factor at this point.
If you took the shackles off the US Marines, I can guarantee that the Marines would go in and wipe the floor with the bad guys. Marines are very focused and know how to get the job done, but if you put rules on them like 1) - even though the terrorists are dressed like normal civilians, if you cant tell the civilians from the terrorist, then you cant wipe them out, 2) that weopon that you have access to, was authorized by Congress to be used in a certain way, although we know that anti-tank weopon can level several building in one shot, because it is only authorized as an anti-tank weopon, you can only use it on tanks. 3) even though that 12 year old kid that is running towards your position, and even though that 12 year old may have explosive ordinance ready to explode when he gets to your position, because he is a kid, you don't know if he is a terrorist or just a kid running from a terrorist, so you cannot take that kid out because we will charge you with premeditated murder if you blow that kid away.
I wouldnt say it is necessarily bearish. There is a condition that I've seen where an equity appears to get into an equilibrium situation, just a few shares to move the price up or to move the price down. Price then is dependent upon how trading goes.
Price will be kept as low as possible until the last minute to ensure that money can pick up the dividends at the lowest possible price now. Lower price, higher yield, simple as that. Wont go must lower unless some big dollars do some speculation to try to massively push Nokia down, but its all about snagging the highest yield on Nokia at this point.
At some point the market will be comparing those activities that Microsoft has been involved in under Nadella from a perspective at it applies to businesses and a comparison will be made against Apple as it is strictly a retail enterprise, Microsoft has the goods that Apple will be found lacking in, Microsoft moves up, Apple will fall out of favour, it will be observered that the split of Apple was not something that was necessarily in Apple's best interest. There may very well become a parity is stock prices with Apple in the not too distant future at this point. Apple has about double the amount of share outstanding that Microsoft has at this point. Hopefully Nadella announces a more aggressive share buy back on Microsoft now.
The market said Apple was not worth $705+ share prior to the split. History does repeat itself, the market will repeat "Apple is not worth the equivalent of $705+ per share, enjoy the ride down to $55.
