Its nothing personal, its just business and companies are not throwing people out on the street these days without a severance package. Some severance packages are under $100k, some are greater than $100k. There is never a good time to lose a job but there is nothing personal in the layoffs. This is why one needs to sock away as much money as they can in times of plenty because the time of lean can happen to anyone at any time.
Verizon did a dip below $49 when they announced their dividend increase, a couple of days or so, then it blasted past $49, not sure why a dividend increase announcement causes a drop like ex-dividend date but I would not get wrapped around the axle on a slight dip here, MSFT will be trading over $47 before you know it. Hairyturd doesn't have a clue what he is doing.
Certainly a valid question since Ballmer is no longer involved with Microsoft. Dividend increase under Nadella would speak volumes if better than 5 cents share, most likely you will not hear anything until after his trip to China after September.
CALPERS is pulling $4B and that was plastered all over the news, for your sake, you best hope CALPERS is not leading the pack.
So you are saying that you are clueless as to why Nokia is going up and your eggs are in the Apple basket.
I hold only 15K shares of PVHO, bought and just sitting on them from a speculation hunch, just bought them and just sitting on them. The only reason that I come back an look is that PVHO is trying to break .10/share.
If the company is already profitable revenue coming in, exactly what is the reason why Alibaba needs to go the IPO route? It does not make sense other than to make a few very very wealthy individuals. Why is a company that was delisted being listed in the US that was associated with a large number of criminals?
Apple is in a predicament, the presplit price it could not hold onto was $705+, on a presplit price, Apple is trading at $714.98 at the moment. I would say Apple is doing just fine but the price from $705+ fell to about $380+ yet folks don't seem to remember that. The biggest thing that Apple has going for it that it announced the ability to pay, but given the fact that nude pictures were hacked, would anyone in their right mind really want to trust Apple with any financial information? Apple makes one mistake with anyone's financial information, they are toast. As far as Nokia, Nokia is in a process of reinventing itself, something it has done successfully time and time again. Apple is at the high end and I certainly would consider taking profits off the table right about now.
Yes indeed. Exactly why should the American taxpayer be on the hook for billions of dollars, years of conflict, and countless more American lives lost? Just take them out quickly.
Hopefully organized crime will come out against the Native Americans and protest, saying Indians give casinos a bad name, Indians need to get back into the business of settling for trinkets and beads.
The cheapest way to follow the money that is being funneled to ISIS and then publicly execute the money men first, then round up this #$%$ and exterminate them with extreme prejudice via a public execution. This group could be snuffed out existence in under 2 months.
Soon a share of Microsoft is going to crossing the 50% mark of what an Apple share is worth, hows that for Apple losing its "real cool" factor? Who knows money might start to exit out of Apple and get put where growth will be occurring from a share price perspective. Go Mr. Nadella, !!
Heretic was quite the sales person on Linux, what the Weiner doesn't understand that it not the OS, its about money making money, that's the bottom line - typed on my Nokia Lumia 928 running Windows
More like part of a criminal conspiracy to ensured that it happened. Course getting the truth to surface will be harder to find out than who was behind the Kennedy assassination.
I always keep powder dry to buy shares on the ex-dividend date, get the dividend and a guaranteed good entry point, dude, it just does not get better than that, guaranteed good entry points.
