...because they know nobody cares about them anymore; can no longer stand on it's own, confidently. Sad for the once great company.
What's sad, is getting 5 sales in a complete morning, and that is considered a good sales day. 10 years ago, when people trusted and liked eBay, one would get 5 sales in 30 minutes. Thanks again to John Donahoe for giving us what we currently have (and thank you to Devin Wenig for continuing the new eBay tradition of a lousy marketplace).
Sold one item this week, and two items last week. The end of Sept thru the beginning of Oct - sales were not bad for me, and was looking forward to an increase, but the opposite happened.
Ebay is never going to 30 - never! Devin Wenig is the second coming of John Donahoe. All talk, no action. People aren't falling for it again.
Take a screenshot of the delivery tracking. Upload it to the Paypal site. Take another screenshot of the buyer request to have it shipped at the alternative address. Upload it to the Paypal site.
The new CEO is just like John Donahoe. It's the same thing, repackaged, with a "New & Improved!" label slapped on it. They just don't get it.
It's the final quarter, every business seems to do well. Might as well go through the holidays and into the spring of '16 and then make an assessment (since you were thinking of going another 30 days). You'd potentially be leaving money on the table if you bowed out at this point.
Yes, you were taking a stab at MS (how original). While Cortana is not for you, there are others who will like and use it. You make it sound like MS should have gotten clearance with eBay sellers before releasing their product - which is hilarious!
Dude, you just upgraded to a whole new operating system - that means (obviously) new features with the OS. Some things will work, some will need tweaking and adjustment. So yeah, to perform an upgrade, cry that it's not working properly and sarcastically say "thanks 4 nothing microsoft" is being a baby.
Another reason you're blinded by John Donahoe. In the down economy, it should have been eBay kicking the #$%$ out of everyone via second hand and used goods. But that idiot kept pushing for new items via big box store sellers, and here we are.
You're not kiddin. John Donahoe killed this once great company and venue. And anyone who thinks Devin Wenig is anything but the second coming of John Donahoe, is clueless. They are cut from the same cloth.
That's the whole point - eBay wants people to steer people to subscribe to a Store. But most don't want a store. Once again, eBay is going against customer wishes and putting themselves first.
If you've noticed, lots of favorable articles from various investor sites about eBay and Paypal lately. Upon further investigation, comment fields are missing from the end of the articles; can't leave comments.
Truth be told, most watchers are sellers. But as an occasional buyer there, I place items on watch lists, so I don't have to hunt for them later.
