You hit the nail - if you managed to grasp repeat customers, you're in better shape than most. But it's got nothing to do with eBay; it's your personal customer service that keeps customers going back to you. A seller who does not have repeat buyers, has almost zero chance of surviving on eBay.
I want to believe you, and wish things could be different with eBay. But the new guy coming in, isn't much different from the CEO they've had. It will be more of the same. It's not about making eBay great, it's about those higher ups lining their pockets at yours, mine, and everyone else's expense.
