then you need some help man....all of the companies you mentioned are bubbles and will fall in price substantially over the next several years...all worth a tiny fraction of where they are trading....
this junk should have NEVER traded about a market cap of $5 billion in the first place...market simply taking back what it has mistakenly given...this trash is not even worth a $1 billion in market cap...see you back at $10 this time next year.
Neither Ackman nor Einhorn lied about anything idiot. Read their thesis on both the GMCR bubble and the HLF scam before you say such idiotic nonsense. Don't worry main street, you will soon learn why Ackman is Ackman, why Einhorn is Einhorn, and why you are, and will continue to be, main street. The wallet teaches us all a good lesson, you're almost up for one. Cheers!
Einhorn is still short this bubble and he is not the only one: Chanos and Tilson are also short this non-sense. Anyway, good luck on your position, that is why there is a market, you have one view, we have another. I'll be covering at $50 this time next year. Cheers!
K-cups have been around for 15 years?? Look at what is driving the story for the past few years, what are you talking about??? Two years ago GMCR was around $20 per share, what has changed to this business to drive a 7x fold increase in pps since then??? How has the business changed fundamentally in such a such period of time?? Anyway, keep holding, you will soon find out how Wall St. works.
I doubt institutions that hold this and support it with everything they have would allow it to crumble as of yet...it will take a few quarters of slower growth for them to begin throwing in the towel. Last quarter softness was just the tip of the iceberg. They will likely provide weak guidance again this quarter and then in the end of the year provide a very weak outlook (relative to the current sky-high estimates) for 2015. This should begin to get some rationality into this non-sense. Realistically I think the crash on this thing begins Q1-Q2 time frame. Then the real hit occurs in the second half of next year. Patience is a virtue, if you're short, you have to withstand the pain and wait until the thesis plays out.
these companies are both toast...one in a declining market with soft beverage sales plummeting in the US (which will be followed by plummeting sales even in emerging markets as people find out the #$%$ that soft drinks really are), and the other trading as sky high bubble valuation levels due to a clear "FAD". I have ZERO doubt gmcr will trade at $40-50 at some point within the next few years once the fad dies and investors realize that they've been taken from behind by the SELL side analysts that have been creating these "multi year growth cycle" pipe dreams for gmcr...get that lube ready if you're long this bubble, because it will be hard and painful very soon....
welcome to the board newbie...time to learn more about frauds...and how they issue fake financials to the smart ones like yourself...so you can load up on this scam and dream of a white Christmas, aka "buybacks" and "dividends"...these scam artists most likely don't have any real cash, that's the problem with your idea lol. Anyway, keep doing your dd, you're on the right track...
look at the estimates man....even if they do well with this quarter's numbers, next quarter estimates are way too aggressive. They're gonna guide lower for next Q and the stock will get crushed. I would be very surprised if this scenario does not unfold.
this is a worthless scam with no assets and deteriorating operations...it will be ending up next year where it belongs, in the gutter...might as well write this nonsense off as a tax loss...any lawyers out there willing to take a crack at the incompetent #$%$ running this freak show????
today's movement is NOTHING but just a one day's movement and means NOTHING...when they keep releasing losses quarter after quarter will the market finally realize how RIDICULOUS this valuation is and reprice this equity...perhaps IF they can keep growing at 80% (revenue) then in about 3-4 years this price can be justified, but at this juncture it is completely out of whack. You can call me whatever you want, but I've been a financial pro for many years and have a very thorough understanding of what I'm talking about.
Ok, now I'm fully convinced it is headed back to where it was a few years ago...back into the teens...Chhers everyone that owns this winner!!!!!!
completely agree...the company is worth $15 BILLION with $700 million in revenue, negative cash flow and negative earnings...at some point, things become rational, and at this price this is completely irrational...as we see with NFLX right now, a slowdown of revenue growth gets these overvalued/over-hyped names pounded into the ground...it is coming here for sure as well...
investors are worried about this junk being a fraud and they issue a press release about a Kiwi conference....very niiiiiiice, how mmmuuuuuuch!!!!!!!
yea right...these clowns will just start another scam, lure poor unsuspecting investors in, and make their 300k salaries and sell millions $ worth of worthless stock...and then retire with blow and #$%$ in the Bahamas somewhere...that's how it is done...like I said, reality of capitalism...how does it feel to be "owned"???? And they say there's no more slavery in the US....what a joke....
oh yea and, btw, after the reverse split this junk will be down back to $0.05/....and you will be down 99% on this position...it will NEVER come back for you to make any money here, you will likely carry a loss until they go belly up...which won't take long anyway, actually. Like I said, I suspect next year they will liquidate the Company and close their doors. Looks like business is simply going under for these guys. Sad reality of capitalism, I guess.
The real damage will come when they release the so-called "earnings", or lack thereof in case of P. Let's patiently wait for the party, while they're trying to keep it afloat as the market continues to crumble. Cheers!
