Yea, bought a bunch at $30.75--so far so good. Ummmm, hurmmus and pimento cheese!!!!!!!!!
again for another 1000 share purchase.
I am not sure about KOG's direction but I think the rest of your post is correct. After seeing those retail numbers and then today's unemployment numbers on top of the world's geopolitical situations I have started liquidating all of my equities starting this AM. Will be completely in cash by the close of the market today. Don't have many KOG shares, but they are now gone. GLTA...................I think America needs it.
When you buy a company that can't ever meet projections the market more than likely will punish you for it. We might be seeing the start of that, along with oil heading to $90. If oil trades to $90 or less WLL's buyout will more than likely be treated badly by Wall Street. I should have sold at $16. Will hold til $14.25 then I will either sell it all or half, depending on what the overall market is doing. See where kansasmike sold at $15.10--probably a smart move.
on a "little while longer" you said two or three years ago. Meanwhile the stock has continued to drop in price to a point of no return for me. Do you have anymore of those buyout rumors you can spread around to build up my hope? What an absolute POS stock.
There is NO offering for the selling holders, they simply will have the option to already sell the shares they hold. Happens all the time, and if sold in mass it will drive the stock down, but that is not likely. Many hold them forever.
timer of all time it might not have been a good move. We will see.
Anyway, here's to good luck to all longs.
I have to agree with this assessment. This is not a bad deal long term, but certainly a huge disappointment for all of those who thought we would be bought out soon for $18-25 per share.
And now KOG should be up .994 cents via the tracking of the stock prices. It is up .71 cents. Nobody seems to have a clue as to why this is. Only bashing me for pointing this out or giving math lessons which everybody already understood.
Exactly, that is why with WLL up $5.43 when I wrote this KOG should have been up .96 cents. Simple math. But is was only of .65 cents. Your theory is correct, but KOG's price action is not.
buyout offer KOG is getting no respect.
I don't have a clue, but I will sign up when the opportunity arises.
I am in shock. Just read the news. We have been had folks, sold out by the CEO. This is absurd. Where do I sign up for the lawsuit against the CEO and the BOD?
With oil slipping and probably heading back under $100 in the next few weeks it was wonderful to see KOG perform so wonderfully today, especially on higher then normal volume. I think we can hit $20 this calendar year barring unforseen circumstances. KOG is my largest holding at more than 22,000 shares, so I am hoping we have a great year. GLTA.
than anyone predicts. They are incapable of making correct moves. Remember Bernanke and the fed governors telling us that the "subprime debacle was CONTAINED" not long before it destroyed the worlds financial systems. Inflation will be the same way. With it SLW will double or triple from here and maybe more.
Watch out bond bulls.
