Why would Bill McCarthy retire after a successful career….only to step onto the BOD of a sinking ship?
The answer is he wouldn't...
Did he note also that Abtech is involved in a lawsuit?
Why don't you go back and read his four posts and see if he has. Or is that part of the game? To create a dialogue of misinformation that appears to be from two people. It carries more weight doesn't it?
"Google Lane Castleton SEC"….wow enough to make your head spin, just don't offer up any more information, the seed has been planted and thats enough.
It is interesting how this guy claims he "got in" because of the Waste Management deal. I guess he's been a shareholder for the better part of two years? Why is it that he never felt compelled to participate on the board until today, the very day he "Got Out" And look how convenient it is that you've made a new friend…someone who listens to you. Its nice isn't it?
Enjoy the the verbal hand j obs you're giving each other tonight fellas.
People have him on a very short leash now. I hope for his sake that there is some PR regarding that trailer system next week. Would be nice to see something else come through before year end too.
A little more than one year ago the hype from the anticipated LA County storm water business pushed this stock over a dollar without one signed contract, today we sit at half that with an arguably better business strategy and forecast for the near term.
Question posed by Christopher Davis of Founding Asset Management.
"Okay. To oil and gas, has this – it’s taken a long time to get to this stage, has there been something that has changed recently to get this traction? And your mobile devices, is that a joint venture? Is that completely owned by you guys?"
Rough answer… its Abtech's design in the mobile devices using third party technology.
My guess is that it is a joint venture of sort, and the 3 to 5 million they will be looking to secure for future Capex will most likely go to the construction and deployment of similar units.
First things first…lets see if we hear something from them regarding a deployment next week as described.
That is true…but to be fair, a lot of what they are talking about is still pretty forward looking. The UK landfill opportunity anticipates 200k in annual revenue per evaporator unit. Although they claim to have a pipeline in place for 20 units, they hope to have the first installed by May 2014. If they were fortunate enough to have 10 in place by end of 2014, which is a big leap to assume they will contract 10 of the 20 in the pipeline by then. That's 2mil in revenue for 2015.
20 mil pipeline in storm water may not create any 2014 revenue even if another contract was landed this year.
The trailer system…not sure if its a singular unit, or several units, up to a million in revenue per year per unit.
I honestly think at this time, subject to change with new information, that their revenues for 2014 and 2015 will be similar at about 13mil based on what they've discussed to date, and thats if they land a similar storm water contract this year.
They do seem to be progressing though.
Well…from my memory of the call, the question was posed to Rink. He was asked how many shares do insiders own and was there a plan in place for insiders to be able to purchase shares on the open market or something of that sort.
He answered that insiders owned on a fully diluted basis 13% of the shares. Rink and the board possess 4.4mil common shares, the remainder are options. You can view the breakdown from the Annual Shareholders June 3rd presentation, page 27, found on their website. I had read somewhere that Board of Directors automatically get 240k shares just for being there. Other than that his answer stated they were looking into that possibility, so take that for what its worth.
I think insiders have very little skin in the game. Meaning, other than what they have been given, they have not actually purchased shares using their own capital. Employees of the company have been given a total of 203k shares in the form of options, but its not clear if they own shares individually.
Investing in your own company, at a cusp or inflection point of growth as was described, at .50 a share would definitely be viewed as an affirmation and confidence of your own company's business plan and future taking shape. I don't think there would be any conflicts with doing so, but now would be the perfect time if you believed in your company's future. Not doing so would also speak volumes.
I would appreciate you sharing your response if you get one.
Mako…in your original post you said " Work has still not commenced" referring to the 12mil job that began on 10/10/13.
Why are you harping on a press release that you claim to be misrepresentative of the facts, when you yourself are misrepresenting facts?
I guess we can deduce that you are no better? Since Abtech's statement was forward looking based on the information they had at the time, and your information is just factually untrue with documentation saying the exact opposite, I would say that you are worse at presenting the truth.
I guess the difference between those two filings would be that the first was a partial forward looking statement….where the second spoke of a past event. Something that has occurred already. It makes no difference when the job began, just that it has begun.
Your purpose here on this board, whether for your own selfish reasons, or a broader orchestrated campaign is to deliberately try and create confusion and
twist facts to either be spiteful, or benefit financially in some way. Say for example, if you worked for someone that may have provided a loan in the form of a convertible promissory note, and got your share price conversion reduced from .70 to .53/share…..or if Rink was screwing a family member as I may have read in another post Stanley.
Work started on 10/10/13…they have been very specific about that in both their recent SEC filing and earnings release statement. I would venture to guess that you alone are the only one that is confused by this.
He apparently would like you and everyone else to believe that the project has in fact been underway since July. That way when the revenues don't reflect what he would like us to believe, he can point to that and say AHA! I told you so!!!
Of course….all of this originated from me…in his mind. But the chronology is all pretty clear in black and white if your just paying attention to all the press, and not just that, that suits you.
His bashing days are numbered….60 to 90 left I imagine. The best part of all of this contract is that its with a neighboring municipality as the town where they did an initial five year study or vetting of the system. Babylon NY is in the Western part of Suffolk County, right on the Nassau County border. The other neighboring municipalities of these two will most definitely take notice and at least explore options / have dialogue if they are in need of storm water solutions as well. Thats just the way it is…and the other 80% of the outflow pipes left to be done in the contracted community….Abtech would have to really fall on their face to miss out on that additional work. I would think a community would prefer continuity of systems, rather than numerous varying systems. JMHO
Mako…read my posts from Aug 14th and 15th. after more information was provided on the "award"
My thoughts on those dates show that what I thought would happen on July 2nd was no longer relevant. Since these later posts render your "Liar" argument irrelevant, I honestly don't expect you to acknowledge them.
The post on July 2nd was my opinion at that time, which changed 6 weeks later. Is that YOUR definition of a liar? Don't be ridiculous, you are clearly intelligent enough to understand the difference. Suggesting otherwise exposes some sort of an ulterior motive…..or emotional problem.
IMO…he is not worried. He just has an unhealthy obsession with either Glen Rink personally, or the company itself.
Something happened along the way, he may have worked there and got shjtcanned, invested in the company and then felt he was deceived by management in some way, who knows.
One thing is for certain, by reading his posts, whatever it is it is extremely personal for him. He may even be justified in some sense but to go on and on and on and on over the same nonsense is just not healthy. NOT healthy.
On the 15th…I wrote
"That sums it up...unless a surprise contract comes along, we need to be patient another six months to a year out."
So again…as a confirmed liar…don't expect too much from 3rd Qtr. earnings
in conclusion….mako is dumb…with emotional problems
Also on the 14th of Aug
"The landfill evaporators they discussed must go through a validation period which could take up to 6 to 9 months....No Euros until March - June 2014...that's if they are fortunate to sign a contract and implement first unit tomorrow."
Tomorrow would have been Aug 15th, in which it would appear no contract to this date Nov 12th. as no announcement has been made. I'm beginning to think my lying is pathological.
In conclusion…mako is dumb
Also on Aug 14th
"The oil and gas division has a current $4 million plus working pipeline, several small sales have transacted but major bids remain on the horizon.
Since revenue for Qtr. 2 was only 100k, I would say those several small sales were small indeed. Although better than nothing, this is not a sustainable business model. Don't get me wrong...I am optimistic, but not expecting 2013 to amount to anything unless a rogue contract comes across the table."
What a lying pumptard I am….
In conclusion…mako is dumb
On August 14th I wrote this:
"Try not expecting much for 5 1/2 months....my math says 200k revenue per month until February before we get into the meat of the contract. Quote below...
"This first engineering phase consists of site and BAP selection complete design is scheduled to take up to 22 weeks to complete, up to 22 weeks, that is the term of it not to exceed, that could be in varying timelines sooner than that but it has up to 22 weeks to complete and represents an estimated 11% to 12% of the value of the contract."
That's also if they can get into the ground easily then. Bad winter = bad frost = cost overuns that eat into the
bottom line. That being said, the contract is not signed yet despite the municipality's anxiousness to begin?
For full disclosure...I'm not worried but keep expectations in check."
I'm a liar because I wrote this before the contract was actually signed, but given the 22 week engineering phase of the contract, and the contract being signed in October, the real revenue should start coming in in February once the construction phase begins, as I stated.
In conclusion…mako is dumb
Again…received an award in July…contract signed in October. Revenues to come after a contract is signed. Lenny from Stienbeck's OF MICE AND MEN could understand that…why can't you?
Although they may have anticipated work to begin in August, it looks as though it didn't work out that way. Looks like it began in October, after the contract was SIGNED. Does that make it a "lie" ?
Again…get over yourself…you are too emotionally involved.
I'm not denying these statements weren't released by management, where in my original post does it say that? It doesn't….but lets go through them one by one anyway …
Teaming agreements? We all know including yourself that little to nothing will come from that.
Validated its technology in 10 different shale plays? Sounds like R&D to me, no revenues expected there either.
12mil Stormwater Award? You remember that one Mako…its the one that you said the company was probably lying about when they announced it. Well, it was awarded in July, and mentioned just before 2nd Qtr. earnings. That means that Abtech was chosen but a contract had not yet been signed. That contract…. the one that you said Abtech was probably lying about…it was discussed in the 2nd Qtr. conference call but not officially signed until October, which is the 4th Qtr. Which apparently I need to explain to you that nothing should show on the third qtrs. revenue in regards to it.
So again, and I will try and use small words in a simple sentence. Don't expect much from 3rd Qtr. earnings.
How can someone be so smart and so stupid at the same time? The answer is when they deliberately try and twist facts and other peoples statements to serve their own purpose.
You come across as a bitter, sore loser Mako. It permeates in all your posts. Again, you are too emotionally involved. Get over yourself for your own good.
