Your right I have no idea what the revenue is on this engagement.....I am assuming. Based on the website with three listed products and past specs on billing it should be 150.00 per year (does not include the sdk revenue). Unless you can find another several thousands of products that would give us us meaningful revenue what would you suggest that I assume? I am happy to get updates like this but this does nothing for negative cash flows. Does it prove adoption? No in my opinion.....we need much much bigger players which I do believe it coming. I am bullish and IMHO mgt did this to consol retail shareholders. Just guessing...

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

We agree to disagree then. They have 3 products from their website...maybe they have more that I am not seeing but $150 bucks in revenue a year? Momentum will happen when big firms adopt but maybe management understands that investors need a bone now and then. Hoping we get bigger firms by June GS1 launch date. I think we will

I agree. today news was not news worthy. Hoping for good news on CC and big news by June launch date of the dw code.

My hope is that they gave it away for free and we get paid on the clicks....no guidance ....although on the website there is a brochure on the SDK pricing for apps. Not sure what if any revenue we can expect from this. ....we are in the dark for now.

I never said that . I believe the Shazzam is using DMRC technology....to what extent is the question? We may not get color on this for quite some time from mgt but eventually shareholders will demand it. Despite seeing McCormick and Co and Merial talking in June about the DW code.....Bruce will say what he can say next week. ...he may or may not mention the above.....or there might be a big announcement coming. As a shareholder I would be thrilled if he told us that a number of brands and items and could give guidance besides for the year but he tends to under promise and over deliver. Timing within the system in regards to adoptions is unpredictable. Lots and lots of moving parts.

You are correct with complicated images or content. I am just referencing what I asked the company and their response on the Coke campaign ....."they are common means of identification where the small class of objects is small and well-defined, and the consequences of mis-identification are small. - all true in this case"

It will be hard to not beat the earnings for the last call! :) I hope they can earn adjusted CASH EPS of at least a dollar for the year. I agree.....on the actions.....we need more clarity on timeline for splitting up the company and drastic changes. we see this and the share price should start to recover. Turst is hard to earn back once it has been lost.

I agree Flip but it is not just strictly their IP. Shazzam uses a variety of technology vendors. However, ....if Shazam is evolving into a marketing company that enables the identification of all media ...DMRC is a logically fit for a lot of it.

Good find. I did however confirm with Mr. Davis that the Coke Lyrics campaign was not DMRC technology. It does not mean that the other Shazam for Brands is not going to use their tech in the future. Let's hope this gains some traction for the major brands

You are correct......the traditional barcodes, QR codes, and RFID will go away right away.....but for 50 bucks these large companies will see much more benefits and have a better ecosystem for all their supply chain management issues.....besides a faster checkout and engaged consumer/better branding etc.

Maybe I am looking at the wrong agenda but I only see one DW code reference on the agenda. ...regardless is a another major positive development. Also read through the smart label .....very cool.......DW codes will replace QR in time.

All I know these two multi-nationals would not be presenting at this major conference unless they had plans on adopting in some way and done significant due diligence. I am guessing but I would presume that we are talking thousands of products in the US and more abroad. Boulder is starting to wiggle a bit and the shorts are right in the pathway. Tutes that want to go long will not wait for massive earnings to hit the bottom line to add because the sales to cash/revenue recognition cycle is over a year.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • No confirmation or denial from DMRC management yet but the above two companies are listed on the GS1 Connect conference as presenters are the DW code! --McCormick is a Food company and Merial is a subsidiary of Sanofi... a global animal health corporation....BAAAMMM! why would these companies be presenting if they were not adopting at some level. This are massive companies multi-national corporations. Also Rich Richardson is a lead presenter .....he is the chairman of the board of GS1 US......to put that is perspective.....he is the president, pope of the barcode community. Any share weakness and I will continue to add.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

RP you are correct. They better report a much more cleaner quarterly result next week or they are out in May. Credibility is everything and current mgt lost that many months ago. Hoping for the best on the next call.

I wonder which existing tutes added to their positions during the quarter and if any new ones came on board with the recent depressed price action. The biggest news has already been released IMHO GS1 adoption. Now the sales should start coming via, SGS, Schwark, GS1 etc.

If you are a 5 billion dollar fund that has three other funds of similar size....it is only a 100 million dollar bet. I am not suggesting collusion between multiple funds but stranger things have happened. Earnings are coming up. Some funds are managed just like this 120% long exposure and 20% short... and they use past financials to analyze longs and potential shorts. We need earnings growth. period and most longs here are patient enough to wait the rest of 2016 and 2017 to see it happen.
