not shares....value offered. Yes....it was forcing the price down. Think of it as herding cattle. You offer big lots on the ask in great value and quantity than the bids and it controls the short term price and movement of the security. Not sure what the end goal is. It maybe to accumulate more share before running it higher. They just ran it down from 15 to 11 so the traders might try to run it up and make money the other way. Either way we dont know. It may also be a way to cap recent momentum.
One insider has been selling....Masters Capital.....which explains some of the pressure experienced by the stock over the past several days. volume is contracting so we might have found a short term double bottom. One tool I use is the Ultimate oscillator which is about to go over 50. todays candle and close is important.
1.2 million...on the ask...holding price in check...big money will let this run when they want to. The intentions of this handicapping will be known in due time.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Maybe you want your money back from shorting. Anyone that uses analysts these days to invest is a fool. Short away I will be adding.
yep. different time frames yield different results. Let's see if we can get any continuation pattern. Stock is still oversold.
obviously dell there are multiple resistance levels. Even a 5 year old can understand that. At least I have realistic expectations. Do you live in Colorado? Cheers!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Dell I am realist...and am long the stock. Yes I have written calls and they are still out of the money. There is no reason to bash. I do hope we pop to 15 bucks but am happy with a move to 13 buck in the short run if it occurs.
I would also add the first hour of trading means nothing. All we saw was HFT trading the price higher and retail shorts covering. The next 5 hours are much more important as to whether the stock can hold this mornings gain.
thanks sherlock....glad for that clarification. CEO purchase is a positive but only 700k. In the short run the stock needs more than that.
All the insurers are running higher so you may be right! :) A buyout of MBIA at these levels would be a steal. we need buying pressure to continue all day. Lets see how the next hour resolves.
i should also say short term momentum can be more powerful than fundamentals. Stock needs to hold 7.51 tomorrow or good bye.....it will be shorted lower.
