I used to play this unfairness with options. But now I believe they can keep a beatdown going indefinitely in spite of fundamentals, until the options expire. This is another way in which the billionaires harvest our retirements.
When is having a billion enough?
For a diseased human, never.
Nothing wrong with doing it honestly. We need to elect people who will put teeth into the laws we already have.
to be worth the risk they have to be sure it will go below 13. Just below 14 is break even.
That's over a half million dollar bet.
Well, we know it wasn't Madoff.
I saw this with Zogenix when they launched their acetaminophen-free extended release hydrocodone. Mylan and Purdue did a disinformation/slander campaign saying how dangerous zohydro was while they produced much more dangerous versions of morphine.
What I am saying is, larger pharms might be behind the short attack to keep Horizon from achieving the market cap they need for acquisitions that the larger pharm has designs on.
What did George Bernard Shaw say about cynics?
"The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it."
When no wrongdoing has been found, they never make a press release either. Damage done, but the cover [ourasses] has been supplied by the agencies. So there is no prosecution for frivolous accusations. In the mean time the politicians get to pretend that they only had the public interest in their hearts.
And because manipulating the market is so lucrative, it is just considered a cost of business. The SEC looks the other way and it is crime as usual into the foreseeable future. Pretty soon, as you have laid out here, loyalty to the organization Trumps loyalty to the mission. It is Hillaryous.
that's what they want you to think.
da dems have been the largest recipients of pharm largess, so their motive would be low.
the repubs have control of the committees.
It takes more than individual parties, it takes back room collaboration between them. Then for political purposes they decide who's face goes on it.
sharp reversals no longer happen. The rules of the market change every few years. Now it is a multi-layered program taking a particular equity to an unreasonable low, then a ridiculous low, and then to an unbelievable low. Then they keep it there for an extended period, making it very hard to guess the turning point.
The paid media puts out the headlines,
the paid bashers put out the confusion,
the paid high frequency traders short the poop out of it,
the paid legislators make bogus innuendo about a policy they never intend to change.
The SEC stands aside because they all play the market on the side.
The ones who don't have been marginalized out as being paranoid chip-on-the-shoulder axe grinders.
This is what is now recognized as legal capitalism.
They do this, those who control the markets, to confuse and keep the shakeout of drug developers going. All the headlines are bogus and the critical thinkers know it. The big trick has been for decades to keep critical thinking from happening, and thus the masses are controlled.
Kind of like the myth that the democrats will take your guns away. Has it happened?
As far as I can tell, it has lead to record profits in the gun industry. That is why they put forth the myth. It is done in virtually every sector. The media is owned by the oligarchy as an arm of public control.
It is all a charade. For some reason the pharm space is under attack by the oligarchy. Probably to harvest a few billion in loose change they can shake out of the susceptible. The bashers here have no stake in it other than being paid to confuse. Their bosses give them orders to post nonsense in tidal amounts so that reason is drowned out. It forces the real investors to sift through a wagon load of chaff and hopefully from their point of view, they turn away a certain percentage of investors.
It is a big program on a broad front. The foot soldiers do not have the big picture, they just want to do a good job and be paid for it.
All of the criticism of the bashers is true. The upshot is that the bashers do not care. They are anonymous and thus personally sheltered, even revel in the scathing analysis of their nonsense.
This is a brutal game, boys, and the only way to do well is to buy low while under attack and hold like a Buffet for the payoff in five years.
Maybe they are letting this horse out of the gate.
There is no confirmation that government is going after pharma. That is a manipulation mantra put out by the chief manipulator Wall Street[journal]
