    Gustaffson v Rumble Johnson UFC

for those interested here is a recap:
Anthony Johnson KOs Alexander Gustafsson; table set for Jon Jones bout
    Kevin Iole
By Kevin Iole 14 hours ago Yahoo Sports

It was short, direct and to the point, but Jon Jones' response on social media after watching Anthony Johnson earn a shot at his UFC light heavyweight title by stopping Alexander Gustafsson in the first round Saturday was probably also the best take:

    Wow.

Johnson moved to within one punch of one of the most incredible journeys to the top in UFC history, bludgeoning Gustafsson in front of nearly 30,000 partisan fans at the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, to earn the next crack at the light heavyweight belt.

Jones has run roughshod over the best the UFC has to over, but he was not able to run over Gustafsson when they met in 2013. Gustafsson gave Jones the battle of his professional life and, to this day, there are those who are adamant that it was Gustafsson, not Jones, who earned the decision that night in Toronto.

Nobody has ever done to Gustafsson what Johnson did on Saturday. Johnson hit Gustafsson with a right hand by the ear that badly wobbled the Swede. Gustafsson began to stagger around the cage and it was essentially the beginning of the end.

Johnson is a raw, powerful puncher who has the ability to end any fight with one shot.

Gustafsson desperately tried to get away from him, but Johnson landed a kick to the head and several hard right hands that finally sent an off-balance Gustafsson to the canvas. Johnson finished it there, forcing referee Marc Goddard to step in and stop it. It was a powerful, dominating experience and was Johnson's seventh first-round knockout in the UFC. But this wasn't against an aging, slow veteran like Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, whom he pulverized in the summer in San Jose, Calif. Rather, this was a statement fight. The guy who once couldn't make weight and seemingly was destined to become an underachiever has finally moved to within one powerful punch of the UFC...

Microsoft HoloLens - Occulus rft killer

    by slider5x5 Jan 22, 2015 11:20 AM

HoloLens comes with its own on-board CPU and GPU, along with a new processing chip designed to handle augmented reality. The device also has its own speaker unit, so that users can hear what they’re interacting with in addition to seeing it.

Unlike some virtual reality hardware, HoloLens doesn’t need external cameras or markers in order to function. Users should be able to put it on, and quickly view holograms around them.

iLT80's you might have seen an older version the videos I saw was a one piece headset. You know what they say about competition and barriers to entry. Looks like this may be a free-for-all between google glass, microsoft hololens and fb occulus rft.

more from article project hololens: First Impressions “First toy of the day to show you,” he says, passing it to me to hold. “This is the actual industrial design.”

It’s bigger and more substantial than Google Glass, but far less boxy than the Oculus Rift. Project HoloLens’ key achievement—realistic holograms—works by tricking your brain into seeing light as matter. A Quick Trip to Mars - Another scenario lands me on a virtual Mars-scape.

With a quick upward gesture, I toggle from computer screens that monitor the Curiosity rover’s progress across the planet’s surface to the virtual experience of being on the planet. The ground is a parched, dusty sandstone, and so realistic that as I take a step, my legs begin to quiver. They don’t trust what my eyes are showing them. Behind me, the rover towers seven feet tall, its metal arm reaching out from its body like a tentacle. The sun shines brightly over the rover, creating short black shadows on the ground beneath its legs.

After exploring Mars, I don’t want to remove the headset, which has provided a glimpse of a combination of computing tools that make the unimaginable feel real. NASA felt the same way. Norris will roll out Project HoloLens this summer so that agency scientists can use it to collaborate on a mission.

will be out soon with microsoft 10 - Microsoft just introduced some of the coolest new technology the personal computer industry has seen for quite some time.

Windows Holographic is Microsoft's (MSFT, Tech30) insane vision of the future of computing. But it's real, and it's coming soon.

With Windows Holographic, you can see and interact with 3-D images all around you. You can pinch them, pull them, tap them and flick them away. You can "select" a hologram just by looking at it, and you can walk around them in 3-D space.

To see and "touch" the holograms, you have to wear a special headset called the "HoloLens." It kind of looks like Google (GOOGL, Tech30) Glass on steroids -- it fits around your head and has see-through holographic HD lenses that kind of look like ski goggles.

as was the case last earnings the growth metric will be scrutinized - if it shows slowing growth as it did last Qtr. the sandbagged nongaap measurement of earnings will not matter - they will take the stock down. When they report Pull down their financials (income statement especially) on fb investor relations and compare stats qtr to qtr.

you are obviously not in the top 1% - why are you fighting this - stop listening to the idiots on faux or limpbaugh. Do you really think the Romney's of the world should be afforded a 15% cap gain tax on whatever portion of carried interest relates to capital gain because of the pass thru mechanism of partnership as opposed to collecting a salary which may be lower than the tax rate of the secretary who works there. Billions of dollars afforded this loophole which should be closed. Tax these fools at ordinary income rates not the pass through rate of the partnership - another way of looking at it would be the implementation of the minimum tax rules which hit everyone else but these top 1%ers.

yamoron, the argument is all gains have gone to the top 1%. The argument extends to tax loopholes and breaks for the top 1% that they don't need and are not asking for. Tax reform. Of course there is always a top 1%.

my advice to those like you is continue sticking your head in the sand. Fake study by Deloitte. Social media is toxic many are dropping off recognizing it as a waste of time. Those with time to waste are useless anyway and probably not a lot of cash to spend.

    Sell the rip.

yesredsoph The Stimulus package and Tarp stopped the crash jobs increased every month since the stimulus package yamoron. Congress passed it fool Potus signed the legislation. Compare that scenario to that of a financial collapse worse than the great depression. How stupid can you be Fed increased its balance sheet to over 4 trillion dollars and you complain about the 787 Billion stimulus package which 1/3rd was used to cut middle class taxes. You are a completeidiot. Admit you do not like Obama because of his skin color and then ask yourGod for forgiveness as you rotinthehellof your pitifulexistence.
