Unfortunately the only news announced at the Earnings CC will be earnings. Confirmation of the pathetic execution by Raj and co. and the Sandoz effect on Fusilev. Good time to buy-in after though.
It's the old "bait and switch". One of Raj's goto moves. He's been doing it for years.
Zevalin $200 million per year
Linkage between Folotyn and Fusilev
Fusilev record revenue in 2013
Eoquin $1 billion market with NDA in 2012
Maybe they realize, unlike you, what the dumpster dive pipeline represents.
So you want to ignore management. Fine, many before you have as well and they left the poorer for it. I've been a long since 2008 so I've lived the DD. Go back and look at revenue predictions by management then actual performance and you'll see the lack of performance.
Come to think of it your ID was created today, you're probably an alias by one of the pumpers trying to create an excuse to expound on their rosy views. Are you a pumper clone?
You may want to look at getting out quick. Many longs here have ignored the power of bad management. A lot of them are gone now. Some still rant and rave about it.
Earnings is coming up in early August and SPPI's top product will be reflecting the first Q where a generic competitor will be eating into their market and taking their product price down. It may not be pretty.
Also Raj has managed to minimize revenue on all the current approved products. Why would that change on any future products?
Best bet is to get in after earnings and ride to the FDA decision on their next product. (due in October) But don't hold for long since it will probably be disappointing revenue for the new product if approved.
Ozarelix was a bad idea even before the disastrous PII years ago. Crowded market for that indication and it's only gotten more crowded. Cut your losses and move on.
You should do some homework on SPPI and NDA's or SNDA's. The PPS tumbled on Zevalin SNDA approval and fell on Belino NDA. Plus I've seen many PPS drops after NDA approvals. You ever hear the phrase "sell the news"?
I still get a laugh that Raj tried to sneak through 10 year old study data on the SNDA for Fusilev and the colorectal indication and was rewarded with a CRL.
If I were you I'd hope for a chance at a runup prior to the scheduled NDA date for CE. Ever hear the phrase "buy the rumor"? If it comes early there will be no runup. Just like the case with Belino.
Sure let's get less qualified nuclear specialists out there just so we can help out Spectrum and their bumbling leader Raj off the hook.
Just retire Raj and play with your grandkids. They love stories, the more unbelievable the better.
Years should not be reassuring. Raj is what, 71? His road will be ending sooner rather than later. I'm very doubtful and thankful, that he won't make it to 2016. Another Eoquin unexplained delay could be the final nail in the coffin.
You're kidding, right? SPPI never announces bad news unless they have good news too. Of course that blew up in their face when they announced the bonuses on the same day as the Sandoz news. Raj really blew it more than usual on that one.
iome has been a valued contributor to this board since at least 2008 if not longer. You've been a valued contributor since NEVER. Several longs were much more attentive early on to the real problem with SPPI and it's Raj. I guess your DD did not give enough weight to the CEO problem. Stop grousing with those who were way ahead of you on the power curve as to the SPPI problem and take your medicine or move on.
Raj is tired and just wants out at this point. IMO He failed in his dreams and he will never let someone else lead SPPI where he failed so miserably to go.
He's already gorged himself on salary and bonuses he doesn't give a flip about the PPS on a sale. He's even too lazy to give a one finger salute as he shafts the longs here in his one last power play.
Have you also duly noted that the vast majority of pumpers on this board are English speakers? Probably not unlike the dialect spoken in Henderson, NV? I'm sure you'll find this much less interesting.
I was in court yesterday. Suing a deadbeat and it so much reminded me of Joe Solomon. Defendant X went on and on describing his trials and tribulations. Yet when it came to any actual evidence his cupboard was bear. I can still hear the judge, "Mr X. you have provided proof of nothing here today. Innuendo, supposition, your theories all backed up by nothing".
Summary judgment plaintiff.
There is plenty of passion here. Passion to get the biggest stumbling block to SPPI success eliminated. Which is Raj.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out Raj and don't get a hernia as you drag your goodie bag of pillaged, undeserved, golden parachute spoils.
