Pilo, you need to go back and read your history -- the "old confederacy" was the Democrat party. IMO the Democrat party is the new class of plantation owners, but that is from an other time.
Marked and followed by whom? Did the "whom" have the capacity to make sure the registrations were valid? If there are forty thousand "missing" registrations they will show up or maybe it will be like the missing boxes of ballots from GOP districts that went missing on election night only to show up under threat of state and county court action.
And the Dem's have the "ground game" to mobilize the base better than the GOP..... see, if you would have read what I thought of the aricle, you would have seen we agree. That the elections will be much closer than expected in context to historical polling data going into an election. Obama's statement to Sharpton was a get out the vote for the black audience and the GOP mouth pieces are too dim witted to get it...... What Obama said it not going to get the on the fence GOP voter to the polls but it could motivate some on the fence Dem's to make the effort to vote.
Pilo, did you happen to read my thoughts on the article? If so you are a idiot, if not you are forgiven for being closed minded fool. What demographic was the President addressing with Sharpton?
"President Obama dealt another blow to red state Democrats on Al Sharpton’s radio show Monday, insisting that despite their political posturing, they “are all folks who vote with me” and “have supported my agenda.”
Obama reiterated his devastating statement from October 2, when he told a crowd at Northwestern University: “I’m not on the ballot this fall…but make no mistake, these policies are on the ballot, every single one of them.”
“A lot of the states that are contested this time are states that I didn’t win,” Obama said. “And so some of the candidates there — it is difficult for them to have me in the state because the Republicans will use that to try to fan Republican turnout.”
But Obama made sure to stress that although Alison Lundergan Grimes, Bruce Braley, and even DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz have all insisted that the president is “not on the ballot,” all of them support his agenda and will vote with him.
“These are all folks who vote with me, they have supported my agenda in congress,” Obama said. “These are folks who are strong allies and supporters of me.”
Obama said he instructed the candidates to “do what they need to do to win,” even if it means never admitting they voted for him."
now the GOP is trying to spin the statement to Sharpton as a negative? The President has spoken the truth and it is a great way to motivate the "soft" left that might not come out to vote but agrees with the Presidents agenda to come out to the polls. The GOP has its head burried in the sand, if they do not see the motiviational elements in Obama's statement to the voter who are not likely voters in this election cycle.
cp.. it is 135 years since "they" have been recording the temp.... problem is the way the temp has been recorded has changed over the years and the data is "faulty" because the standards for taking and recording were not consistent over the recorded 135 years....
"they always outsource" --- so, in effect they do have a product? Is it the NLST's designs that are outsourced for mfg? If so your arguement is moot.
from the storagesearch site on the whistle blower 8K:
"As reported in its 8-K last December, Netlist says it received a whistleblower letter describing in detail how Diablo "stole Netlist's detailed architecture and design" of its flagship product, HyperCloud, to create the ULLtraDIMM.
Editor's comments:- SanDisk's ULLtraDIMM is a new class of product in which cheap high capacity MLC flash emulates many DRAMs in a module which contains little or no DRAM itself but which nevertheless plugs into a DDR3 module.
In contrast - Netlist's "similar sounding but very different" product families include real DRAMs which accomplish power fail data protection aka non volatility - by means of fast backup and restore to onboard flash - all in the same DDR3 module.
Netlist doesn't appear to be saying that it could design a product like the ULLtraDIMM - because it doesn't to my knowledge have the flash controller IP to do anything remotely similar.
Instead - what Netlist appears to be saying is that techniques in DDR3 design - which enable lots of circuitry to be placed behind a RAM interface - without placing too much load on it and slowing it down - which Netlist has itself patented - are suspected to have been used within the design of the ULLtraDIMM."
the counter arguement is on storagesearch blog/"news" site... the editor seems very pro Diablo, from reading through past articles.

atleast we are not in England, talk about wack jobs.."Murderous ISIS militants secured a victory on British soil – when the National Union of Students voted against a motion to condemn them.
Hand-wringing delegates at the NUS blocked a vote to show solidarity with Iraqi Kurds and condemn Islamic State militants because they say it’s “Islamophobic”.
The bill called for the Union – which claims to represent UK students – to support unity between Muslims, condemn the bloody terror of ISIS (also known as the Islamic State), and support a boycott on people who fund the militants.
But the motion offended Black Students Officer Malia Bouattia, who said: “We recognise that condemnation of ISIS appears to have become a justification for war and blatant Islamaphobia.
“This rhetoric exacerbates the issue at hand and in essence is a further attack on those we aim to defend.”
In the same meeting the NUS passed a motion to boycott UKIP and email every student in the country on polling day telling them to do the same - effectively meaning they find it easier to condemn UKIP than ISIS."
from snopes --"The Houston Chronicle reported that Houston City Attorney David Feldman had suggested the documents demanded by the city could "shed light on the extent to which signature gatherers opposing the ordinance were aware of the rules governing the referendum process," namely a prohibition against churches' engaging in political activities:
Feldman said the pastors made their sermons relevant to the case by using the pulpit to do political organizing. That included encouraging congregation members to sign petitions and help gather signatures for equal rights ordinance foes, who largely take issue with the rights extended to gay and transgender residents.
Houston Mayor Annise Parker subsequently maintained, through a city spokeswoman, that the subpoenas had been issued by pro bono attorneys working with the city, that neither she nor the City Attorney was aware the subpoenas had been issued until after the fact, and that the city would be narrowing the scope of those subpoenas:
Mayor Parker agrees with those who are concerned about the city legal department's subpoenas for pastor's sermons. The subpoenas were issued by pro bono attorneys helping the city prepare for the trial regarding the petition to repeal the new Houston Equal Rights Ordinance (HERO) in January. Neither the mayor nor City Attorney David Feldman were aware the subpoenas had been issued. Both agree the original documents were overly broad. The city will move to narrow the scope during an upcoming court hearing. Feldman says the focus should be only on communications related to the HERO petition process."
does anyone else see the contradiction of the words and actions of the Mayor and City Attorney?
crazy --- I need to put on my tin foil hat before I read stuff like this, "Several other pundits have also speculated that Obama could move to cancel the presidential election, including author Erik Rush, who told Alan Colmes last year that there’s a 50% chance Obama will become a dictator and stay in office indefinitely."
How about a heads up before I get to the conspiracy stuff. tia.
capstone has been doing co-generation for years... it is not a "new" market. don't worry they will miss numbers same as always and be cfn same as always ... great trading stock, not so much as an "investment".
BTW my silly little neo-con... Obama's daily approval index election day was only -8. You keep comparing apples to oranges. 11% of the likely voters since the election now have a worse opion of the President.
the -19 index rating is almost at a month long high.... y_r... you need to read the whole report and not just the headlines
keep cherry picking the numbers "The latest figures include 20% who Strongly Approve of the way Obama is performing as president and 39% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19."
The WH will only shut down for US school children and Veterans...........when Obama decides too halt the WH tours.
