Whining and complaining belongs to ATT and the balance of cartel members hopping mad over Title II. Google lurking around the corner with small cell technology. ATT and DTV losing market moat.
Riding the growth curve would mean actual growth when it is a "crumbling" business model. Content creators will bypass the bundler. OTT with net neutrality takes out the middleman. AOL had better than a 30%. Silly Klown looking to be this decades version of Gerald Levin. Booted from the Dow for good reason.
That is separate topic worthy instead of the Klown tryin to bury topics with his red herring call to dump Netflix. FCC denied its requested info. If you are denied what you feel is relevant info needed for an antitrust decision then one could assume a denial will be your answer. 'You don't want to provide info? Take a hike is going to be your answer'. I expect it will boil down to AT&T being forced to swallow Title II or it is sent packing. DTV not happening would be a major blessing for shareholders. Even bigger would be the inept BOD and Stephenson fall in the pending lawsuit. That deal is far from over.
The Klown is trying every ignorant reason to deny bandwidth expansion bringing IPTV won't harm the ignorant move for DTV by the poor steward of capital Randall Stephenson of AT&T. In the process he is proving up his Klown membership.
LOL. You really don't comprehend my statement then. Go look at AOL-Time Warner merger and how disasterously ill timed it was to buy the dial up player just before bandwidth expansion (DSL) ruined its urban market stronghold leaving it with only a rural market base. Gerald Levin will struggle to ever live down the infamous train wreck merger as it nearly bankrupted them. Stephenson taking ATT down the same path.
LOL. Game changing. The moat T and the anticompetitive cartel has worked so hard to build is being taken by Title II. Go ahead and block Netflix. Soon there will be several alternative choices as the FCC levels the playing field.
The Klown goes on with the personal attack with the head Klown buying an AOL rerun in DTV.
Ignorant Klown. Nige knows exactly what I mean and I mean well for him and his situation with best wishes comment. May he soon be back laughing at ignorant leadership for AT&T while VOD makes a nice run in EU recovery.
Would be wise of Echo to consider that statement, couple it with Title II, consider the very recent move by FCC to give out 100 MHZ of 3.5 GHz spectrum for general use and review advancements in small cell capacity.
This is reminiscent of the Klown posts that wants to count population instead of households as subscribers. Most of Latin American explosive growth is over (I'll push up topic you ignored). You really went into right field with the eps trickle down taking a year etc. REVENUE is not a trickle down. Latin America counts for 20% of REVENUE, not eps. Even with a trickle down, the BIG profits are in the US which is set for bandwidth explosion bringing adequate speeds for streaming live HDTV.
Yes sports is big but with adequate bandwidth for IPTV comes the ability of those big sports packages to completely bypass the bundler. NHL, NBA, MLB can all sell direct to consumer. ESPN now can be had within SLING TV bundle for $20/month with by the month subscription. I don't have to pay for April through August when I watch very little to no ESPN. HBO fight nights....Yep, bundler bypass. Cable and satellite soon won't be the only game in town as ANY high bandwidth ISP pipes become the delivery avenue. Margins set to shrink for bundlers as barriers to entry fall for bundlers as well as prospective ISPs that have been stifled for years by cable and telco cartel lobby efforts.
Short answer: do your DD on IPTV, FCC's release of general authorized use 100 MHz block of 3.5 GHz spectrum, small cell advances by Huawei, Samsung, Ericsson and Google. FCC just opened the flood gate for IPTV OTT competition with as much coupled with net neutrality.
Klown eps will not move up. AT&T is issuing a ton of new shares. The dilution will be a wash in eps. DTV makes AT&T a fatter market cap but does little more than expose AT&T to a company with a market barrier about to be destroyed with Title II. If the DOJ/FCC indeed requires that AT&T accept Title for merger approval and AT&T does accept the condition, then AT&T management is indeed a very ignorant bunch.
Klown, how much is DTV shareholders going to own of T after the dilution? It is apparent you haven't done the math or you are blatantly attempting to mislead.
Sprint provides a fair coverage map in the markets where Google hasn't deployed small cells using newly authorized millimeter spectrum by the FCC for "general authorized" purposes. Near impossible to build a coverage map overnight so this partnership is a launching position for Google stealing local markets in which it would deploy small cell. Good in that Sprint has additional income but it might eat up a little bit of their own retail market. Going to get REALLY interesting. The convergence of communications means one bad move with a bad bed partner and you find yourself bankrupt dealing with the STD fallout.
The 2.5 is now worth a little less as the FCC granted a 100 MHz block of 3.5 GHz for general authorized purposes. Like a giant Wifi. Project Fi by Google could get interesting
Adding interesting fuel to the fire is the assistant and her counsel have reserved the right to name a couple reverends as defendants along with the NAACP, National Urban League etc for awarding phony diversity awards in exchange for donations. A very interesting wizzing contest that appears it may go all the way to the top of AT&T with the board and Stephenson named as defendants in a reported HR cover up.
You tried to trash VOD on that mb but the handful of faithful on that mb know the fundamentals and ignore your baseless rants. My posting information about AT&T drives you insane. Cheap entertainment as a result of your rude klown act when I came to this mb asking questions. You're little more than a blind klown that can only stump the dividend yield as the positive as Stephenson appears to be driving AT&T into the ditch.
Booted from the Dow for a reason.
Still attacking the messenger instead of the message because you know its true.
Is that gym attendance as fake as your Caribbean cruise? ROFL
Not my reporting. That headline is a report out today. If the $100 million lawsuit really turns into a board wide drag net it might not even spare Mr. Stephenson from a head roll.
Another read: NAAAOM and Entertainment Studios to Amend $10 Billion Lawsuit against AT&T and DirecTV to Include the Newly Discovered Evidence of Racial Discrimination and Cover-up.
King also "reserved" the rights to name a couple reverends, the NAACP and the National Urban League as defendants for taking donations in exchange for phony diversification awards to AT&T.
Such an offensive matter reported to HR very likely resulted in Stephenson knowing of the highly offensive conduct but not firing A A Ron. Good ol' AT&T legal team going to get to spend a few hours on this fire to say the least. A few new board members and CEO may be on the cutting stump. This deal is far from over.
