"Sobara, who has a $40 price target on the stock, writes that his bullish call on the stock revolves around the potential of its Utica/Marcellus holdings, and upcoming "potential liquidity events: that will bolster its balance sheet, including the initial public offering of its a Eureka Hunter Midstream master limited partnership, which he expects in the second quarter, and a potential joint venture. "
I'll take that gamble and it could pay off big...
anyone following this stock? Wonder how the portfolio will be affected by the downturn in Houston and all the failing Oil & gas companies that are going to be filing bk and laying off 1,000's of employees?
is there anything left here? I don't think so but I have never seen so much panic and fear... If MHR is 90% gas then is it possible for a turnaround? I think its 50% chance of bk and shareholders wipeout. if this his 1.50, I will be willing to take a gamble on it again.
stupid arshe GE couldn't deliver... kept making promises and selling this and that and never attained any goals. he is the ultimate salesman and just was at the casino with the shareholders money... I lost $50k by giving him my credit line. If this was any normal time, they could count on the pipeline sale but with the condition of the market, there is no way they can structure a good deal for it right now. I bet MHR drifts under $1.00 and will hover around there for a while. #$%$!
I think the company, and many others like this, will have to reorganize and file bk... they will still be functioning companies but at less capacity... they will reset and shed debt and come back in 2016 ready to go at it again. Common shareholders get completely wiped out... sucks.
They just moved to Dallas... probably signed a 10 yr lease on 100,000 SF of prime office space - probably paid $20M in relocation costs and expenses for employees. Unfortunately, that is not a good sign of the desire to sell the company - anyone disagree with that assumption?.
if this dips under 2$ bucks, I am going back in. I think we will see a waive of panic and margin calls that will force this under $2 and then it might be a good buying opportunity. Jhees,, this is ugly.
sad to see what has happened here. I used to own 24k+ shares but sold almost all of it (at a loss) around 4.60... could have been much worse. who could have seen this coming? I also sold HK and that is doing way worse than MHR. overall, I lost 35% of my whole trading account in a period of about 4 months bc I was so weighted in these debt ridden O&G companies. should have stayed in wallmart and DSW!!!! fa*ckme!!
