Adding to the sense of unease, Biglari has been muscling in on cover shoots and seeking to meet the scantily clad models, the source said.
“There is a level of creepiness to him that is off-putting,” said one former insider, who also said the staffers always know when he is in town because of the heavy scent of cologne that trails him.
Dennis Calverts long term track record of value destruction= a $64.53 million loss
Starting at 6/30/02 which is right after Denny-boy took over, the company had an accumulated deficit of $12.919 million.
At 6/3-/14, a full 12 years under Calverts expert leadership, the company now has an accumulated deficit of $77.448 million.
That means in his 12 years at the helm, he has burned $64.529 million. Or an average of $5.377 million per year.
It went from Nuway Energy to Nuway Medical to Biolargo.
They have never had any revenue to speak of. But they have managed to lose $64+ million while Calvert lives like a king.
The reason its being hyped so hard right now is they have managed to issue a boatload of private placement shares and warrants in the 20-30 cent range and those people need you to sell to.
Yes, you are the patsies who allow Calvert to blow $64.5 million over 12 years, changing businesses multiple times with dozens or even hundreds of material misleading press releases along the way
Stocks trading like its not going above $25 anytime soon.
They are just bent on running this stock into the ground.
Look for a reverse split soon.
Anyone who bought these shares in the open market has lost most of their money.
But don't worry, you can still lose another 95%.
They are desperate to sell. They need YOU to buy.
Do what you want.
SP 500 is down 6.26% according to an article I read for August
BH is down 14.15% at $373.26
CBRL is down 4.83% at $144.18
I think the $434.81 was inflated. but its still down 11.1% from the $420 tender price.
Don't want to sound like Im rooting for it to go lower but I would buy more if it does.
I own a grand total of 7 shares at present.
Everyone who tendered is better off for it right now.
What does he think.
Buying at $300-325 is a no brainer but it might not go that low.
Much depends on the market.
Oh and I think UNAM may be at, near or below his cost.
They did pay a $1 dividend a few years back.
I just looked back at his 13d. Avg cost was $11.855, minus the $1= $10.885.
As best as i can tell he hasnt sold any.
Stocks up on good volume. $4.06.
Apparently they can invest unlimited amount of capital at high returns.
False alarm. I thought HLF would drop 15-20% on the news since their business model is almost identical.
But its actually up a few points.
Fidelity shows block trades of 12,115 share but the time & sales say 800 shares was the largest trade.
Seems odd. I guess certain trades don't show up on their time & sale.
Its going to be SLAPPED BACK at them soon.
Ask Dennis why he is fighting a war he cannot win ?
