Bought them last year and expect to get more than $1000 per share in 5 years. Needless to say bought some more in Feb 2016 as well. But not much. Just for fun. I cannot make a living out of trading. Very hard.
I have some at more than that and holding. Since this compounds daily, it is not only the UNG price, but how it gets there. If it is a slow rise, you may get it back when gas is $3. Some of the replies assume the direct ratio as if the increase is in one day. But in reality it will go up for a year or two and you will get your investment back and more due to compound interest effect. Buy what you can afford to lose. These are risky investments. Do not have time to monitor daily and day trade. Will see.
These are just hollow words. Where are they going to put the unsold crude? Most storage are full and some tankers are stranded with stored crude. They are not going to pump unless someone buys it- buyers are full too. So, there cannot be much more supply as this is a hazardous material and one cannot just pile it without proper environmental care. Do not see increase in production without harming their own environment, which they are not going to do.
When did you buy? Look up USO on that day and not WTI price. UWTI tracks future contracts and not today's market value. USO was about $13.5 when WTI was $44 in Aug 2015. USO is now $10.5. So, there will be appreciation when USO again becomes $13.5. There could be some erosion though. If USO goes up steadily to $13.5 slowly instead of overnight, you may get back more than you have bought for. It compounds both ways as it gets somewhat re-balanced each day. A perfect re-balance would have the same opening price as yesterday's closing price because the fund should have had all cash overnight- nothing invested, but that does not happen. The fall in price gets amplified, so does increase in price. The time path is important but we cannot control that. I am heavily invested too and hopeful.
The large German corporations BASF, Heiniken de-registered from SEC and re-registered in OTCQX. Google for more information as Yahoo has blocked couple of my postings with web links. Most of the 400 corporations in OTCQX are re-registered.
I don't think un-register is the same as canceled shares. The shares get canceled in bankruptcy and not in un-registration. Companies do un-register stocks to save cash on audit and share holder meetings. It is not a good thing, but not as bad as cancellation. There is hope, and perhaps, this process of un-register and re-register is going through in accordance of the court order. This also cleans out short pressure.
I had the chance to get out at $1 but did not because I think, it is valued more. Time will tell.
Corporation is registered. Most likely shares will be registered next so that we can trade. ABAT has not gone through bankruptcy, so all shares are still valid. I do not know what happens to the short shares in de-registration. But in re-registration, previous stock holders get the 1-1 re-registered shares.
Glad that this message board is waking up.
Check the solution tab in Abat Power website. Universal Batteries has a big market. If ABAT is making batteries for them, that is a good source of steady income.

Thanks for the info. Glad that there is no escape from SEC. I think, ABAT will relist with 2 years financials. There is a provision to register stocks back after de-registering. I saw ABAT Power in linked in now. They are making batteries only, and not electric scooters. Hopefully it will be listed soon.
yes they seem to be in business and will come back. I think, they have returned to the core battery business. Check out abatpower web site.
Pumping gas at below $2 is ridiculous. But CHK has no option, because it is running on borrowed money and borrowed lease. Management meet at exotic locations on borrowed money. Cannot continue for long.
It will be good for the industry, if this company goes down in bankruptcy. No one should keep rigs on borrowed money and keep pumping at this low prices.
Unfortunately it is not today's price. It is the future contract price that matters for UGAZ. By that I mean, UGAZ is based on gas being sold for March 2016 and not now. However, a bump will be nice. I did the same mistake as your assumptions did and holding.
UGAZ is issued by Credit Suisse, which has its own problems. Will like to diversify to 2x ng BOIL. But BOIL is not as popular, anyone knows why? 1x UNG and 3X UGAZ are very popular, but not 2x BOIL.
