  • 27 million in sales. Wow. Management of this organization needs to look in the mirror, admit they have destroyed every shareholder and resign in disgust. Including that moron CEO. Rafeld chose not to do a reverse split, thinking the market would care that the "new" assay test would gain FDA approval. Ha. She is qualified to manage a 7-11, at best. And to boot, she owns no shares. Sell the company.

Magnam, with all due respect, have you ever disclosed your background? You seem to know a lot of the science here, and since I'm a latecomer, I don't want to offend you by asking your background. Respectfully, Smelk.

4 week Hep C treatment and still independent!!!!!

There is a twitter feed dedicated to a 4 week hep C cure. Gilead gets 80K to give a patient one pill a day for 12 weeks. In 15 months, Gilead will get 95K to give a patient one pill a day for 4 weeks. They will charge more for fewer pills. Tweetering and trending.

  • There are only 45 people working at this company, and they are all scientists working on cures. Do any of these scientists know how to barge into a doctor's office and convince them to use this drug in their treatment? Do any of these scientists know how to market the drug for TV spots and magazine ads. Do they have the manufacturing skills to ramp up the drug for 10% of the population that suffers NASH? UMMMM, no. ICPT will be swallowed whole within 90 days.

the shorts tried to turn this at 12.27 and lost. A massive buy order blew this out to the upside. What everyone needs to remember is that there are 13million new shares working to move this stock higher. All of the new institutions and old ones that added, are now engaged to move this back above 16 dollars. You cannot fight this force. This will move to 16.50 with certainty. You can get on my back or watch in horror.

lol. That's true. The less you know the better off you are. Take my new pal Bergy, for example. This bloke knows the logs, the delays, the virals, the this and the that, yet he sits on the sideline, with horror on his face. Meanwhile, this smelky_kid shows up and his calls are up close to 25K. I plan on making 250K on these ladies. When I finally sell, maybe I will read the company's profile...

I may not know about HEP C but I do know about secondaries... There will be no dumping and ACHN will head to new highs. Anyone that thinks the new shares will be unloaded knows very little about the market.

lol. Im feeling good about this stock... I'm loaded up now in the Jan. 2016, 15's. I wish I could say that I know more about Hep C stuff but for some reason, that drug area doesn't excite me. If I could pick your brain, Gild and Abbvies drug are for exactly how many weeks and what is the landscape besides ANCH for a shorter treatment. Also, ACHN seems to have a bunch of drugs with different numbers. I can't keep track of them but assume that they are all related in some way... Do they have better side affect profiles?
You don't have to respond if you don't want to. I know I've asked a lot...

    The chart is so perfect....

  • And say the following: in 3 months, Bank of America and Ambac will settle. And within 45 days of this settlement, Ambac will be acquired by Assured Guaranty(AGO).
I am writing this simply so I can refer back to this post....

  • Keep repeating this. Cause that's how we move to new highs....How could it be that the only independent player just might have a 4 week cure..... Say it. repeat it. say it.

And wow, I garnered 12 thumbs down! anyway, I think all of the sellers have been washed out and we move back above 40 in the next 3 weeks.
    Thanks for your support.

i did it again! No one is forced to log in and post on a board they rarely post on because I couldn't take the stock performance... and that my friend is the true predictor of the bottom for me... Right after I posted that, I started accumulating the Jan. 16, 30's calls. You can thank me later.

I know that you may have been here since about 3 bucks, but I'm taking over here. I appreciate your input from time to time, but I have decided to move this to 16 bucks on my own. Keep up the good work, and consider this a tap-out from the old bruno semartino Wresting matches...

Bergy was warned. Now he will be forced to watch the move to 16 with horror on his face. He just might be a little too smart for the stock market. He knows all about viral loads, treatment arms, 1 month delays....
But he doesn't know how to get somewhere before everyone else.

I'm going to teach you something very important about the stock market. Answer 2 questions, how many hep C companies are still independent? Would a 4 week hep c treatment revolutionize the sector? That's my tip. This perception is what will make ACHN move toward 20 bucks. Whether ACHN crosses the finish line or not is irrelevant. You may be the smartest person in the world, but if you can't figure out where the herd is moving, you will be left behind. ACHN will hit new highs and you know this, but you have the choice to be right in the end or right now. Get on smelkys back

  • After all the noise, and all the panic,.one thing has been constant throughout...ICPT's trial was halted because the data was TOO GOOD. Patients receiving placebo were now being unduly harmed by not receiving this miracle treatment. A blockbuster is inevitable. Intercept has the proud distinction of having only the 2nd drug trial halted early for this reason. They are also in the enviable position of owning 100% of the drug, sans Japan. When the acquisition is finally announced on sunday night, everyone will read the article and wonder, "how did I not see this coming." There has never been a more obvious takeover. You have a blockbuster indication. You have no competition. You own 100% of the drug. You have no sales force. You have only 45 employees. Your only skill is R&D. You have no way of marketing or selling the drug. The only thing you a blockbuster drug.
Remember this post when you read the article and wonder why you didn't buy as much as you could. These opportunities are so rare....Oh, and did I mention, you have Gilead, coming off a lousy month of PR with their hep C price cuts... And you wonder what they can do to turn around their sentiment... They will only pay 12 billion dollars for ICPT, yet in 2 years, their global revenues will increase by 3 billion a year...Gilead will rally on the news.

There are 750000 secondaries each year. The same thing happens every single time. Have you ever invested in the stock market before? It's rookie board.
