Uggla started for Washington yesterday. 0-3 and a strike out. The man is consistent. J Upton went 1-4 and Heyward went 3-5 (oops!). And so as not to disturb the board police, how many plaintiffs do you think the bottom feeding, sleaze bag tort firms will attract by 4/20? My guess is they manage to manufacture one.
I've got a double A team that's convenient and doesn't require the emotional investment of MLB. I've been following the Braves since they moved to Atlanta including attending the game where Turner fired Cox and managed. Last year was as exasperating as any in memory. I also follow the Cardinals and am acquainted with the DeWitt family. Currently comparing the Braves to the Cardinals is the sublime to the ridiculous. It's the difference between a baseball family and media company ownership priorities.
Only dumber move than shorting MDXG is trading Kimbrel in order to get rid of Upton's remaining salary obligation. Maybe after selling MDXG, Braves hire Petit to straighten out team. Good grief! This makes my head hurt.
