Krebs - the kid with a corporate credit card that shareholders pay off - plans to encumber, once again, Coeur's cash flow by 50% or $150,000,000 at the loan shark rate of 7 7/8 %. This will give the kid $450,000,000 to fritter away while the shareholders pay it off. Good show, Krebs!
Tomorrow's NFP aside, dollar below 80, metals well bid, beans leading agri. higher, oil + $100 and the ol' geo-political mix should put some MORE money into this sector. All ships should rise; those that haven't/don't - well, just stay away from those.
BTW, all who wanted to add physical metals should have well done so by now.
Payback time starting, Snook. .....
mb, I cant speak for the hedge funds et al, but for me payback is continuing. PLUS +++100% ytd!
I cant recall, but I'm sure I meet the criteria to qualify for Foo's 'Master Trader' moniker . How's it goin' with you?
Hey Ed, CDE posts a positive gain ytd - so far today. Start bangin' the drum and wavin' the pom-poms the trading day aint over yet.
Coeur shares cannot even keep pace with the percentage gains in gold and silver.
Thanks, BROWNIE! Maybe BROWNIE should de-list from the NYSE by way of selling the company. Lucky to get a 20% premium from this level.
The hedge fund managers probably pocketed all short selling profits
yeah, it possible Coeur aided and abetted the shorts on the TSX by delisting CDM. All those naked short -legal in Canada- from the $30's on down walk away unchallenged. Thanks, Coeur!
Believe me, if there was good solid circumstances pertaining to this company where would be little or no bashing. You and your crowd want to put the blame everywhere but where it belongs.
silvercres robbed by narco gang -strode in and stole dore...
It's been about 2yr. or so since nsxt, stormy, and I predicted drug gangs would go after the miner's dore and mining personnel. All miners will have to increase security with greater costs. Of course you disagreed.
Just because Krebs doesn't talk about it doesn't mean it's not happening. Look to expanding G&A. The tell-tale is there.
Ed's continued cult fascination of Coeur's management belies the fact that Coeur share price is more than miserable. Not only does Coeur share price not match the gains in silver and gold on a percentage basis ytd, it underperforms by about 15%. Good job boys.and pump harder Ed!
did you catch that snooks
I catch what the market thinks and does NOT verbiage of tiresome windbags like you.
Market says CDE is DEAD MONEY! PZG so far - GOLDEN!
mo' better news from Paramount (PZG) today. Management doing the job: locating and expanding resources. PEROID!
Maybe that's why PZG is up +57% ytd ; while CDE clocks a measly +2.3% ytd.
Crupi does it by the book; and Krebs? doubtful he can read.
by the way snook you levitating again
Yeah, Eddie-baby, I'm levitating in the security of physical metals while you're drowning in the muck of Kreb's & Co. B.S. But muck is where you slim-balls hang out anyway - ain't that right Eddie?
After all my schoolin', you still cant spell Coeur can ya Eddie?
Higher metal pricing necessitates a ball-less wonder like Krebs to use is position as CEO to make daily public claims of mkt. manipulation in the pricing of metals. I'm sure Sprott , Sinclair, and GATA would give him all the info to make credible charges. Otherwise, he's just like you - a ZERO who thinks he's a hero.
But it's not all lost. His temerity is my gain. You see, I like cheap silver.
I'm looking for alternative places to park my investment dollars "
Welcome to the reality of stackin' phyzz and hovering over EVERY 3x nugt/dust trading position. The rest is superfluous.
not a bad return on exploration expenses-
Actually Eddie, there's been NO return on exploration expenses - Not one cent.
The sad fact is that Krebs & Co. can find all the resources they want but, until they find a way to profitably extract those resources they're no better than the bumblers on TVs Gold Rush show.
.....just for your interest coure owns ....Blah, blah..........
What the hell do you know Eddie? You cant even SPELL: C-O-E-U-R!
bought my core at .56
You gonna keep boring us with your $5.60 price - ad nausea ! You play that 5 year old $5.60 purchase like a person of color always playing the race card - it's a canard and used to you're twisted supposed benefit - whatever that is. Oh, yeah you're a trading savant and cult of personality expert on Coeur management. Then why weren't you pounding the table under $10 ?? Here's a tip Eddie, get a better job and spend more time on domestic matters. You're a total bore!
Rocky, I quipped to lpet some time back when he asked the same question. My answer was when the 50dma sloops upward above and parallel the 200dma the mkt. will have perceived Coeur has hit a sustained and profitable stride.
Sure I've been critical of the management and those who faun over them. They have demonstrated to be inflexible. For instance, go to utube and look for Krebs being interviewed on the NYSE floor. He's looking for +$2000 gold after a horrific slam down a month or so earlier. And you know his mind is racing mach schnell on how he's going to encumber and parlay increasing cash inflows into future properties and resources. No problem on the face of it, except that slam in price should have been a warning to judicially secure cash flow via selling gold/silver contracts if he where wrong. He didn't. So, in the face of declining metal pricing he encumbers cash flow with questionable purchases, added debt and share issuance. The mkt. reacted as expected.
The gripe rests with managements perception and inflexibility to respond when events threaten their preconceived conceptions on which their corporate strategy is based. AND METAL PRICING IS KEY. So plan A was +$2000 gold; plan B let the shareholders pick up the tab.
The mkt. picks up on this and responds accordingly they didn't want any part of plan B.
Hey, we're all here to earn be it long or short. The key is to flow with the money not against it. That said, the recent slam in CDE had to have wannabe longs licking their chops.
So I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the 4th a eps will be -0.25. Feel free to comment
That's the whole bear/basher/ short case isn't it? It doesn't matter how many ounces Coeur has in the ground or how much Coeur produces. The question that does matter is: Can Coeur produce PROFITABILITY?
All else is superfluous.
