I am not going to do it as I already own enough shares, but one could put a limit market order in right now, for 50,000 shares at say for.88 and I would bet she would go right above .88 without filling the totall order.
So I put a buy order in a little bit ago for 10,000 shares at .7699. This was when she was trading at .7618, Buy order well asking price. Only 6,000 shares filled and MCP immediately jumped to .78. Lack of whatever...
For the return of the negatshortism. My word for naysayers. MCP due for a little pause, short term, I think, and these fellas will fill this board with junk. fear and garbage.
I have a Schwab account and use STREET SMART, which is a pretty cool product, tells you a lot of things. A light just popped up on my screen that says "news" at 3:45, saying there was an imbalance, on the buy side of over 4 million shares. That kinda tells you the last 15 minutes would be a wild ride. That is all I know.
I agree with your analysis, but would like to add to it. It is my belief that this was more than triple witching Friday. Other stocks did not have this volatility, this is rare. Same a 92 dollar stock, going to 80 dollars and back up in 10 minutes.. At about 3:45 PM, news came out that there was a 4 million share imbalance on THE BUY SIDE. This, I believe led to many, while it was sitting at .92 and looked like she was going higher, to throw in a MARKET ORDER, to sell their shares, hoping to sell in upper nineties. That then caused the increased volatility (besides triple witching) ranging from .92 to .80 back to .85 or .86. These are just my thoughts, not facts.
Have to follow the money. I have noticed MCP has better days when market even or down. When up, money goes other places. For you shorts, this was NOT a dead cat bounce, you can only wish.
MCP traded less than 10 million shares, in these last few days, below .79. Some of that might have been day trades, in and out, so could be a lot less than 10 million. So might bust right thru that on the upside and never look back.
