Today, with EMR hitting a 52 week high, Cramer calls EMR a buy. This combination is usually a sure sign of a top.

Does China really buy two thirds of all the iron ore for sale in the entire world? That would mean North and South America, Europe, the rest of Asia, the middle east and Africa combined would be buying the other third.

Today RIO dropped, and then reversed course, although still down for the day, on the heaviest volume in two months. Looks like today was the day the sellers capitulated. The stock should begin a slow rise from here.

When BHP announced a slowdown in bringing new projects on line, I thought Cliffs would advance today on this seemingly good news. Wrong again.

soon they'll be saying "you mean for six cents more I could have had a real K cup?"

I can't even find June 65 calls listed anywhere.
Hopefully it will close Fri. at 23.01, which is where the option writers will make the most money.
Sentiment: Buy
My brokerage account doesn't even show any 65 June calls listed for CLF.

Delta airlines, with all its debt, just initiated a quarterly dividend. If Delta thinks it's helpful to have a dividend to prove it's a safe stock than can be invested in and not just traded, so can GMCR.
Sentiment: Buy
Since it traded as high as 81.50 today,I'd up your range to 70 to 85.

rlbeard6734: do you feel that CLF on Friday will close at about 23, barring any unexpected news, market wise or CLF wise?
Sentiment: Buy
That's the number of outstanding May 23 puts. The biggest number of May options, puts or calls, and by quite a margin. The poster earlier today who said we close Friday at 23.01 is probably correct. Buying today gets you 1. A better price than 23.01. 2. A dividend too. Buy some right before todays close.

Excellent post.

apparently not enough buyers want to buy GMCR at 77 when they could have bought it at 57 a week ago.

esarbib: you "have no intentions of selling" followed by "I want to lock in my long term capital gains". How do you accomplish this?

"merger with starbucks"? SBUX and GMCR just announced a five year partnership. SBUX gets what it wants for nothing. A merger would cost it millions.

Would you buy an 80 call on a stock you could have paid 57 for two days ago?

The stock market is overbought going into the seasonally weak summer season. It will decline taking most stocks, including Disney, with it. It is not a good time to load up on any stock trading at its 52 week high. Better entry prices will be forthcoming.
Sentiment: Sell
With all the discussion over whether GMCR stock is going to drop after the big runup, or whether it's going to 100 from here, is it possible that at 75 GMCR (up from 17 in less than a year) is priced where it should be based on its improving fundamentals and extended agreement with Starbucks? I own it. At 75, I'm afraid to either buy any more, or to sell any of it either. Perhaps 75 is where GMCR should be.
