intellectual property with any value to be sold. Zilch Nada. So I guess the 25K patients who successfully used this drug got absolutely no benefit from it whatsoever since we are now told there is nothing of value associated with Omontys. Someone must have snuck into their hospital rooms and hypnotized them and their doctors into believing there was some medical benefit when there was not. And then they hypnotized the FDA examiners so they would see benefit when none was there. And so what management is basically telling us is that they were deliberately selling nothing more than a placebo, but a few people were somehow allergic to the placebo and died, so they could no longer keep selling the placebo. And of course we now have nothing to sell to a potential buyer since, heck, who wants to buy the formula to a placebo. Now it all makes perfect sense.

Evidently management DID forget about it. Not one word about it. Not even to say they looked into it and determined it was not a transferable asset. That would take time to craft a few sentences in a PR and that would delay by a few moments getting this company completely shut down. This whole scene reminds me of the end of the movie "The Sting" when all the con artists are breaking down the set, patting each other on the back, and dividing up the spoils.

  • Nada, Zilcho. No explanation of the handling at Fresnius (either to clear or condemn). One
and a half years of investigation and NO DETAILS WHATSOEVER other than just ONE SENTENCE saying manufacturing was not to blame..... and coming from a management team that has rushed in every way possible to shut this company down. Something stinks to high heaven here.

What good would that do? The court has no built in enforcement mechanism. The ultimate law enforcer at the fed level is the DOJ, and Eric Holder will continue to ignore and not enforce any court ruling that Obama disagrees with.
