The opening price should have been a tip off. They (the specialists) ran it up at the opening with the intention of luring in unsuspecting investors so they could unload the ton of shares they are currently holding. Look at how they systematically brought it back down. There are still a ton of shares sitting on the ask. Over 10-1 ratio. This is definitely going lower. I suspect it will close around $1.73. We'll see. GL.
I would wait if I were you. The sell/buy ratio is still extremely high. There are 10 times the amount of shares for sale on the ask versus the bid. Wait for the two to balance out first. GL.
Well, if what you say is true, then the market will tell us the same thing tomorrow. It's kind of agreeing with you right now in the A/H's. We'll see if it still feels the same way tomorrow.
I agree with your assessment. I was in this when it fell to $1.50 thinking it couldn't go much lower only to see it fall another 35 cents. I'll probably just sit on the sidelines for a while. GLTA.
Exactly. That was my point. What good is it to report good numbers if the sector you are in is having a tough time of it right now. If oil drops again tomorrow look for SD to fall right along with it. GL.
Yep, 10 days in a row of closing in the green. Special thanks go out to the paint department. Will today be any different? I think we all know the answer to that question. How much do you want to bet there will be another after the bell trade.
BTW...I noticed they deleted my previous post to this post. I questioned yesterday's after hour trade at $15.69. I listed the last 30 trades from yesterday including the questionable trade in the after hours. Gee, I wonder why they deleted it?
Heck, I remember not too long ago they would issue a PR approximately once or twice a month, then once this fell below $5,(Institutional threshold price) the PR's became fewer and fewer. Well, in a couple of weeks we will definitely hear something...good or bad.
ps..This marks the 10th day in a row CFP has closed higher. (There was 1 day in between where CFP closed flat.) Now, you tell me, how many of your other stocks can boast such a stellar record?
Yep, similar to the three little pigs story. FUEL's house is the weakest of them all. Its not even built from straw. It was built on nothing but a dream. And now that dream is turning into a nightmare for the little piggies.
So much for the first part of your prediction coming true(market surges today). We'll see if you can get back to 500. GL.
I agree with your opinion. I can definitely see FUEL falling much lower. IMO, it is following in the same footsteps as MM. If you remember, I was one of the posters over at the MM board who saying MM and VELT would continue to drop. I said MM and VELT were only good for a quick trade. MM is now scheduled to report in a couple of weeks. They were originally scheduled to report this week. Gee, I wonder why they delayed it? lol. My guess is MM will report horrible numbers once again. These guys can't get out of the way of their own shadows.
As for FUEL, keep an eye on the opening price tomorrow. If it opens like today,(higher on little volume) then more than likely it will gradually sell off the rest of the day. FUEL is now in the hands of the momo players. Good luck if you decide to play it.
The same thing happened yesterday in the A/H's.....someone bought 100 shares yesterday at $1.74. My guess is someone(the specialist perhaps?) is trying lure in unsuspecting investors so they can unload their shares.
Here is a log of the last 7 trades on the day.
