Pretty weak response but lets go ahead and take into consideration your hypothetical and wildly speculative suggestion...Eisai has influence over the top two listed catalysts. What about the other 6? Also, you really think they are going to hire two hundred new sales members and then tell them to sand bag their efforts? I mean I know it was pretty obvious that they were holding back at the Obesity Week 2013 conference 3 weeks ago when they got the biggest booth possible, committed as a platinum sponsor and then lead 4 sessions, but other than that do you have any evidence?
- Sales increase due to doubled sales force
- Sales increase due to tv advertising
- Sales increase due to increased holiday guilt/resolutions
- Sales increase due to validated safety profile
- Announcement of approval to sell outside of US (will happen several times)
- Announcement of increased insurance coverage (will happen several times w/ biggest one being medicare and/or federal standard identfied by Obamacare)
- Quarterly earnings that crush estimates due to $60M milestone payment
***Announcement of a buyout offer
They won't all happen in this order, they won't all result in a big step up, but they will all happen. One of them will start a squeeze and all the rest after will be like gas thrown on a fire.
I sleep well at night because I can hold my shares until all the cards are delt and it doesn't cost me a dime in juice. How about you?
Blind stabs in the dark buddy...that's all you can offer. Nothing tangible, just junk, guesses and FUD.
I'm sure you you smile and think you're clever every time you create a wildly out of bounds post using a mock-van ID but let's be honest, your routine is getting stale. It is time to let it go. How about some facts for a change?
Nice call buttplug - don't you get tired of being wrong? Starting to get expensive for you at this point too.
Any day now they will issue millions more shares to fund the next couple of years of realizing zippy revenue. People trying to suck you in know this and have already placed their bets accordingly...why else would you roll the dice on an unapproved gamble with not advantages over an approved and proven product that is just about to ramp up its marketing? OREX is a sucker's bet, ARNA in an investment.
Of course you shorties have absolutely no concerns though right? I know this is not what a squeeze looks like (yet), but could it be what it looks like when somebody like Ican moves in on a stock? Regardless of whether this is a move in or a move out of a position, we both know that retail does not move this methodically so a big player is definitely controlling what is going on here.
If a fake out were the goal it seems a bit much that it would be bidded at the HOD during what was likely the highest volume day of the week all the way into the close just to have to fight it back down tomorrow and Friday.
You must be holding your guage upside down...sometimes they get stuck too. Shake it a little or tap on the glass until the arrow starts pointing up again.
Tele you deserve every bad thing that happens to you in life, including this little moment you are getting right now. Not because you wish for the demise of ARNA because you conduct yourself like a complete POS.
There is a delay in the posting of scripts so this week's count can't be used against us until December but low volume means they can push it down without a tangible reason. Even on low volume I do not think $5 is viable anymore though...we will see $6 long before we see $5.
I wonder if they already burned up what they were able to get their hands on with this morning's little 10 cent raid...
Sounds like somebody is getting organized and is planning to push it down on the low volume later this week when we get close to the holiday.
Not with mine either...with every "grind" the noose gets a little bit tighter as the little guy picks up what he can here and there too. Nice place to be as a long right now.
Lather, Rinse, Repeat until you have acquired targeted number of shares. I don't think they are netting that many but this looks like deliberate controlled buying/covering to me. Like a duck on water this thing looks boring on the surface but the wheels are turning like crazy down below as they try to get across the river without alerting all the predators.
While I wish this were true, I read the article and that was not the jist of it t all. What the article said was that the new healthcare law allows companies to force employees with big waistlines and that smoke to pay higher percentage premiums than those that do not.
Tomorrow morning's session sponsored/lead by Eisai:
"Expanding Options in Obesity Management: Strategies to Individualize Treatment"
"Advances in our understanding of obesity and its comorbidities have expanded therapeutic options in weight management. Behavioral modification (eg, weight reduction, exercise) is essential to any weight loss regimen, but additional therapy is usually required to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. New antiobesity medications have become available that consider the pathobiology of weight regulation. Surgical therapy is a last resort for patients in whom other treatment options (medication, lifestyle) have failed. Because the goal of weight loss is to improve the overall health of the patient, a multidisciplinary team is the optimal approach to address the comorbidities of overweight/obesity."
