    they used to have Allstate , Dean Whitter , Discovery , now they have Eddie

    in his payday loan that comes due on the 28th , he gets equipment , inventory , everything related to stores that is in , or on the store if the loan defaults

    "On December 15, 2014, Borrowers exercised their option to extend the maturity date of the Loan to February 28, 2015."

    what happened to no more post , just counting the cash ... getting a little nervous are you ? your stuck at $56 ....a coup,e days before you were chanting $60....LOL
    SHOS is on that mini -ride now
    we will see what that 10-K looks like with that $247 million expense is reported with that earnings miss
    Lands’ End, Inc. (the “Company”) made a cash payment of $247,976.67 to Edgar O. Huber, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company

    any guesses ?
    you saw what happened to LE ?---down 37% in 1 month --- they missed estimates , and they have more bad news coming

    SHOS store count 2014 = ??
    2011 = 1,275
    2012 = 1245
    2013 = 1260

    2014 EPS = ??
    2011 = $1.43
    2012 = $2.60
    2013 = $1.55

    6 months EPS = ending August (last quarter bad ) (leave that out)
    2013 = $1.04
    2014 = $0.31

    last quarter without 1 time charges , they would have lost $$ with some sales improvement
    pricing is becoming a problem as SHLD loses buying power
    result of less inventory , bad credit , high risk of Bankruptcy

    currently SHOS has to maintain 45% floor space to Kenmore , and buys them from SHLD
    supposedly at cost , SHOS expenses went up , as a result of SHLD keeping the books

    "Selling and administrative" = 39 weeks expense
    2013 = $ 379,815
    2014 = $ 414,271
    net sales = 39 weeks revenue
    2013 = $ 561,068
    2014 = $ 565,147

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • The money manager will hold the hour-long call on Feb. 3
    Questions can be submitted by e-mail.
    Ask@fairholme.net

    company said it will make details available on its website about a live stream of the call.

    be a good time to ask why he sold Sears Canada , and just bought it back at $9.50 when he could have bought at $7.50 , if he bought 500 shares at a time like he does keeping SHLD a float , you would have got a better deal

    to be a value investor , you might ask why he bought IMPLF , is the OTC stocks his new trend to go with FNMA

  • SHLD can't compete with WMT or AMZN

    the Primark doing a "sub lease " is old news , and all they are doing there is filling the Sears -Re stores (they can't close those) (but that does cut KCD royalty's)

    AMZN
    Net sales increased 15% to $29.33 billion in the fourth quarter
    they do in 1 quarter what all of SHLD will do all this year

    raised the price of Prime membership and it grew 53% last year — 50% in the U.S. and even a bit faster outside the U.S.

    -----------SHLD is closing distribution centers------
    Amazon unveiled its 8th generation fulfillment center which utilizes robotics, vision systems, and almost 20 years worth of software and mechanical innovations to fulfill customer orders. During the holiday season, the fulfillment network included more than 15,000 robots in 10 fulfillment centers across the U.S

    AMZN does many more things than SHLD , look at "Exhibit 99.1" in 8 K

    SHLD who ?....oh yeah, they went Bankrupt in the beginning of 2016

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

    name the hard assets , you can't name 200 stores , lets see if you can name anything
    if you ever learn how to read , there is very little unsecured debt , mainly just the few suckers that exercised the last bond/stock offer

    in simple terms , most of SHLD hard assets are already spoken for

    name the 200 locations
    Sears and Kmart together don't have 200 quality locations
    and they sure as h- ll don't own the land under 200

    if you read the pay day loan , that has leases in it , they don't even own 25 quality with land

    the folks in Berkowitz funds better learn how to read an SEC filing , Bruce is holding a lot of garbage to be a value investor
    they need to watch his video's , and ask them self , if they were against him , make an argument , which one would you buy, and why
    Berkowitz is another Idiot like Eddie boy

    they both got lucky years ago , and apparently luck is all they have

    you will see the valuation soon at Bankruptcy sales
    the only time SHLD and RSH are mentioned now , is what a drag they are on sales , and how long before they fold

    you can't have the losses they continue to have , not have a plan, and expect to survive

    they will lose ($20) a share this year ,
    2013 = ($12.78)
    2012 = ($8.78)

    they have "been" closing stores for a few years , and losses are increasing
    the REIT is the final hail Mary

    my post is a paste from KMI , I have no idea were gdx100 got that stuff , maybe he can share that info , as it does NOT match what RK is saying
    if RK was hedged at those prices he would not have mentioned $70

    me no comprende
    they hope it goes no lower than $70
    "expectations assume an average WTI crude oil price "

    As noted above, KMI’s expectations assume an average WTI crude oil price of approximately $70 per barrel in 2015. The overwhelming majority of cash generated by KMI’s assets is fee based and is not sensitive to commodity prices. In its CO2 segment, the company hedges the majority of its oil production, but does have exposure to unhedged volumes, a significant portion of which are natural gas liquids. For 2015, the company expects that every $1 change in the average WTI crude oil price per barrel will impact the CO2 segment by approximately $7 million pre tax, or approximately 0.086 percent of KMI’s combined business segments’ anticipated segment earnings before DD&A

  • spirallocks spirallocks Jan 14, 2015 10:56 AM Flag

    losses will be greater than ($10.17)
    they have lost ($14.33) in 3 quarters in 2014 , and will be close to ($20 ) for year
    2013 they only lost ($9.49) by 3rd quarter
    they had already closed a bunch of stores

    stores are not the issue , it is the plan, or lack of one

    the REIT idea went down the toilet with all these other stores closing
    that will be the final hail mary
    Bankruptcy is on the horizon
