Not true. The result is that docetaxel works best as a stand alone. Ganetespib still is potent and safe to use they just need to continue figuring out how. Probably what the new panel is mostly for. I also wouldn't be surprised if Bruce buys a bunch tomorrow.
1 of 2 realities, she left for a better opportunity or she was left because she was a bad hire and didn't fit the vision for the future. Either way it is not a good sign but it for sure doesn't mean the company is toast. They will get there but it wont be overnight.
Plain and simple the share price is down and continues to go down because no one wants to own it. Furthermore having to raise capital is never good and what makes it even worse is that the shares are a garage sale now. This future is not bright!

This is not about a buyout. If this was the case the buyout/merger/partnership would happen and then an announcement of new CEO's and board members would follow with grace. What most likely happened is SB and the money of Synta are in major disagreement of strategy forward. Ten years later the opinion of the founder is second to the money.
There are two kinds of resignations. The first is when someone decides it is time to move on and the second is when the company decides it for you.
Isn't this a contradiction?
